We have for you the latest spied shots of the upcoming next-generation 5-door hatch Honda Civic. Have a look.

The 2011 Honda Civic model that has been updated will be available in the UK has been shown to the market. With pristine new alloy wheels; a grille that has undoubtedly been inspired by the Type-R; and the Type S model featuring body colored side skirts, this is a model that is good to behold.

The very first images of the long awaited next generation Honda Civic are out! A couple of silver colored prototypes were spotted without any camouflage during a test run. The font of the car has been completely redone – the old curves have been wiped away and replaced with a sharper design – which seems to enable wider and lower air intake.

Honda is all set to lure in the UK buyers with its Limited Edition Honda Civic Type R Mugen 200 which draws its inspiration from the Honda specialty tuner MUGEN Euro’s Type R. As the name suggests, the C Type R will be an exclusive model with only 200 units up for grabs in the UK. The specific model is blessed with the Honda i-VTEC engine that renders a hefty 198bhp. Mugen touches include front and rear bumper skirts, Mugen badging at the rear, 19-inch alloys and a limited slip differential. All 200 units will come done in Championship white and gloss black side mirrors. The Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200 will go on sale in April 2010.

There are some interesting things happening in Moscow at the Russian Motor Show, but I liked this one in particular because I’m a Honda Civic fan for at least 15 years now. The Japanese from Mugen Motorsports, managed to take a standard Honda Civic 5-door hatchback and build a special new look, just for it and most likely for the European market. I’m pretty confident that Honda is gaining popularity in South Africa and that more and more dealers will be interested in getting some tuning deals for their clients.
Not sure about you, but that sure looks nice in my opinion. Am I subjective, or it’s the general opinion?

Though Honda hasn’t made any official releases we found out that they already sent brochures with the 2009 facelifted Civic, to their dealers worldwide. And what happens when they do that? Some car-fans out there put their scanners on use and leak the pictures on the web. So what you get for the new Civic in 2009 is the lower fascia which are now more aggressive with a three-opening treatment that moves the foglamps even lower. The update is also going to include redesigned reverse lights and some new wheels. We’ll have to wait for the official announcement before the final opinion. So far so good.
