There is a chance for Volkswagen’s Polo to hit in the US if the response chief Martin Winterkorn gets from the dealers is positive. The guy meets with them next week and will ask “do you need the Polo?”. I can only believe that the answers will be in its favor because with oil prices that high everyone needs a car with more an more miles per gallon.
With a small car segment that grows more and more and seeing that BMW introduced the 1-series, Daimler has the Smart and Ford wants to bring the Fiesta in, Volkswagen’s Polo is going to be a cool addition to the market.

I really think the Polo will sell up a storm in the US! Its well screwed together,safe and light on fuel and much more exciting than a boring Corolla.
