Autoweek got their hands on a new leaked document revealing new details for the new Audi four-door coupe, saying the Germans are going to build a hard-top and soft-top convertible versions of the A7.

This will make them the first in the world to produce a modern 4-door convertible, but we knew that already, so where’s the news?

Audi A7 is going to feature two direct injection engines starting with a 204-hp naturally aspirated 2.8-liter as well as a 300hp 3.0-liter supercharged, while a 394-hp turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 has been saved for the S7 which will be launched in November 2010. Anyone care about the CO2 emissions on such a beauty? Probably not!

Thrifty

I really like the idea of having a 4-door convertible, making it more accessible to get into the back when there are more of you, I have always found it very awkward being the passenger who has to get in and out the back of the car, its ok when the roof is down but that easy when the roof is up!!!!!!! Once again great idea!!!!
