The limited version would equips 7-speed S-tronic transmission and also claims to have made many value additions to the car.

The seven-speed dual clutch transmission will allow the Audi TT-RS to race to a speed from zero to 100 km/h in just about 4.3 seconds. If you didn’t know, this is 0.3 seconds faster than the 6-speed model. For the highway speeds, the TT-RS has seventh gear designed as a high-geared overdrive that cuts down on fuel consumption by just reducing engine speed.

The S-tronic transmission is integrated with a built-in launch control function. The company has limited the peak speed electronically to 250 km/h.

A look at the power department would bring to light that it has been left unaltered. The 2.5-litre five-cylinder TFSI engine returns 250 kW (340 PS / 335 bhp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.

Add the new set of MTM sport wheels (19″ and 20″) and it’s not a bad deal, eh?

The Audi TT RS is a very capable machine — courtesy of the Audi Quattro technology — but ABT Sportsline begs to differ, hence why the companu has come up with their own version of the Quattro platform. ABT Sportsline has been in this business for fifty years so we have no other choice but to trust what they present. The wicked tuners have integrated the regular 5 cylinder engine with an air cooler and optimized the engine electronics to raise the power from 340 to 420hp. Because of that, the Abt Audi TT RS dashes from 0 to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds with an overall top-speed of 282km/h. We’re already drooling over driving one …

Sportec is ready with its Stage One performance upgrade for the upcoming Audi TT RS. The engineers at Sportec ceased the opportunity of a performance upgrade after analyzing the new engine’s data. Consequently the ECU has been remapped to increase power and torque. A standard engine produces 340hp at 5,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 450Nm at 1,600rpm. The upgrades help the 2.5-litre five-cylinder increase the engine output to 405hp at 5,800rpm and torque to 544Nm at 2,650rpm. This helps the car pelt from 0 to 100km/h in 4.2 seconds making it as potent as the Porsche Panamera S or the older BMW M5 (E39). Not bad, eh?

Although we were expecting to see a turbocharged R8 that was able to “fly”, the Germans from Audi only unveiled their 2010 Audi TT RS. Nothing short of breathtaking, the motorsport inspired TT RS packs aturbocharged direct injected 2.5-liter five-cylinder that outputs 340 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque, should be available both as a coupe and a roadster and should do 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. Performance oriented, lightweight thanks to its largely aluminum body and featuring state of the art technology that includes Audi’s permanent all-wheel-drive quattro system and a six-speed manual gearbox, the exclusive ride impresses with those unique large-diameter wheels, alloy-effect door mirrors, aggressive bumpers, RS badges on the brakes and sill extensions. Expected to hit the European market in the second half of 2009 we can only wait that tiger to roar … [via LeftLane]

Ahead of its official debut in Geneva next month, the new Audi TT RS has been officialy released to make us drool. With a turbocharged 2.5 liter five-cylinder engine that outputs 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and an all-wheel drive system, it tops at 250km/h and goes 0 to 100km/h in less than 5 seconds. But the new TT RS is just as amazing on the outside as it is under the hood. With larger front air vents, stylish LED driving lamps, twin-spoked alloy wheels, a fixed wing at the back and a new rear diffuse that adds to its aggressivitness factor, the fastest Audi TT in history looks like an amazing ride we’d definitely go for. We’re sold.
