The Sierra All Terrain HD is no mean innovation  – it comes across as one among the most capable trucks ever .

Presented as a concept, the truck bears a shorter, wider, and taller outlook and is driven by a Duramax 6.6-liter V8 diesel engine with 397 hp (296 kW) and 765 lb-ft (1,037 Nm) of torque.

A next-generation navigation system with an 80 GB hard drive will make it the vehicle of the future.

Tipped to have a payload capacity of 2,700 pounds, the truck will don a mean look with a fairly huge grille, bulging fender flares and LED lamps.

The 20-inch aluminum wheels with 35-inch BFGoodrich KM2 tires would give it the looks that would carry it in any crowd.

Not any picture of the interior has been let out, but it is expected that the vehicle will have its cabin adorned by two-tone leather seats and satin chrome trim.

The Snake Series pickup is made on the lines of the (2003-2008) Ford F-150 and has Alcoa Shelby wheels as well as black stripes colored on the red model. The hood is custom made and the model comes with a 5.4 liter engine which gives us 475 hp. In addition to this, it will also feature 6 piston brakes. When it comes to the suspension of this beauty, it has been stiffened and decreased by 3 inches (7.6 cm) to make the ride a lot for enjoyable.

A number of aerodynamic and optics mechanisms are added in the kit and include custom front fascia, carbon fiber splitter, mesh grill and grill surround, bender vents, brake cooling ducts and Super Snake badges for looks. As for the interiors, it comes with a leather finish with Shelby logos quite prominently placed on the floor mats and headrests.

Take the Harley-Davidson design DNA, blow it up into monstrous proportions, put it on a flash black metal truck with plenty of wheels and then rev it up further with a feel that exudes freedom. There you have it, the International LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition. The mother of all trucks! Featuring a trademark Harley-inspired headlights, a unique grille, 24.5-inch wheels, a stylish black and orange paint job, plenty of chrome, a classic and simple front bumper and a super-deep custom sunshade, it sure captures the long and famous tradition of the original superbike makers. The LoneStar is all about machismo and long trails on road… Truly manly!

It was a little while back when Porsche made an offer of $3.6 billion to Swedish truck company Scania and while a few months back the deal looked unlikely to happen, plummeting global economy and dipping stocks are now fueling the speculation that the deal might go through. This will be a bit of a revolution as it could see Porsche enter the truck business very soon. Actively producing trucks would still be highly unlikely as the company is only making a mandatory offer for Scania as it has increased stake in Volkswagen – which owns 69-percent of Scania. For now, it seems the deal will go through, but seeing a truck with a Porsche logo on it is far far away. We’d love it though. [via FT]

In 2010, Nissan is expected to entry the commercial truck market with its newly NV2500 Concept Truck that will debut at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show. So far it’s the largest concept vehicle from Nissan that have seen daylight. It may be me but it looks a lot like those huge Ford or Chevrolet full-sized vans with its long-nosed panel and front sheet metal.
