The latest set of spy shots said to be that of the Ferrari 599GTO have surfaced from Italy and now the hardcore speed fanatics are more than certain that a Ferrari 599GTO does exist and it is already in the works in Modena. Speculation is ripe that the 590GTO will be a road going version of the 599XX concept based on the 599 GTB Fiorano.

The 599GTO will ‘probably’ feature a 6.0L V12 beast which is capable of producing 515 kW derived from the Enzo motor. The amazing displacement will help the car clock 0 to 100km/h in 3.2 seconds which is 0.5 seconds quicker than the GTB. The 599 GTO will do a maximum of 350km/h which will make it one of the fastest red devils ever, comparable with the landmark Enzo. The car should be out in the market in a couple of months bearing a whopping price tag of around $464,950.

Europeans have fallen head over heels for the two-seater exotic sports coupe, the new Lexus LF-A, as the commuter is in high demand on the old continent. The V10-engine powered beast capable of churning 522 hp and going 0 to 62mph in 3.7 seconds, is a limited edition model with only 500 units being produced and production beginning later this year. With orders being received from over 56 countries, each unit will come with an estimated base price of $350,000 to $375,000; a price that Europeans are seemingly not bothered with. So we wonder, what financial crisis?

It looks like supercar developers are popping out from every corner and the latest to try their hand, come from Turkey. Courtesy of the high-speed boat producing company Yonca ONUK, Turkey will see its first supercar Onuk Sazan burn the tar in the near future. Currently, a prototype of the car has been developed by Dr. Ekber Onuk who was inspired to do so in order to honor his son Onuk Sazan, who passed away in a car crash in 1996. The rear wheel driven prototype runs on an engine borrowed from the LS7 Vette and is capable of producing 512hp at 635Nm of torque. This combination is mated to a five speed manual gearbox which helps the prototype achieve a top speed of 300km/h. Only five street legal models will be built every year and the production ready model may come with a Nissan 3.5-liter V6 VQ34DE turbocharged engine that produces 485hp at 588Nm of torque.

The Ferrari is never short of challengers and no matter who poses a threat, the prancing horse comes out victorious. This time around the challenger hails from America and it is dubbed the Rossion Q1 Supercar. Talk about its roots, the Rossion Q1 is based on the British Supercar Noble M400 as Rossion Automotive acquired the production rights from the British moniker in 2007. Q1 made it to Italy to shoot a video and also announce the European distribution of the supercar by Hybrid UKGARAGE of Bergamo. On paper, the Q1 is a pretty capable scorcher that runs on a 450hp 3.5-liter biturbo V6 engine and it can pelt from 60mph in 3.1 seconds. The combination of the high pony count with 390lb-ft of torque helps the car hit a top speed of 189mph. The power transmission happens through a Getrag six-speed manual gearbox while the Q1 also uses a Quaife limited-slip rear differential. Neat, eh? [via autoblog.it]

Danish car maker Zenvo who has recently released more details and hi-res pictures of their supercar, the new Zenvo ST1. Doing their best to make it the most powerful car in the world, Zenvo ST1 features a 7.0 liter V8 engine, both supercharged and turbocharged to 1104 hp and 1430 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a hydraulic limited-slip differential, that will sprint to 100km/h in less than 3 seconds. For now we know that only 15 lucky fellas will ever get to drive the new Zenvo ST1, so better think of those body parts you can spare to actually afford one of these little monsters.

There’s no news that we fall for everything that starts with L and ends with amborghini, but looking at this new Lamborghini Reventon Roadster it’s more like an adrenaline shot directly into your veins. Meant as the most extreme car in the history of the brand, the new Reventon Roadster delivers not just a superior performance but also an amazing driving experience in an open-top Italian supercar that takes our breath away. Speaking of specs, this little monster runs on a 6.5L V-12 supercar that puts out 662 horsepower, sprints to 62mph in 3.4 seconds and tops at 205mph (about 330km/h).

Available in Reventón Grey with two-tone matte-and-glossy finished wheels, the new Lamborghini Reventon Roadster provides “an unusual visual impact, [and] also a turbine effect that further improves cooling of the mighty ceramic brake discs.” And if you were wondering how much it will sell for, how does 1.1 million Euros before taxes (asome $1.6 million at today’s rate) sound? Back in September we broke it that McLaren is working on a new supercar dubbed MP4-12C to be the successor of the McLaren F1, but we just caught wind that there are issues with actually bringing it to US dealer shops. Competing with the likes of Porsche 911 Turbo or the Ferrari 456 Italia, which already have a good presence in the US, the new MP4-12C was supposed to make its public debut at the LA Show in December, but the company pulled out of that one leaving us drooling over the  powerful 3.8-litre twin turbo that outputs around 608hp and 600 Nm of torque.
