The new thriller “Unknown Identity” which opened last month in the United States stars Liam Neeson, January Jones and Diane Kruger. What interests auto lovers is that it also features several Mercedes-Benz models alongside.
Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled their 2012 SLK roadster. The car comes with Mercedes-Benz’s 3.5 liter V6 featuring 302 bhp (225 kW / 306 PS). It enables acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) within sprint time of 5.4 seconds. The top speed of the vehicle is 155 mph (250 km/h).
Mercedes will be putting the SLS AMG E-Cell into production in short time as they have confirmed their official plans. The proposed model is said to be very similar to the leaked, teased and test-driven prototype. The prototype model was driven by David Coulthard.
Not one, but two unique AMG models have been displayed at the Australian Motor Show by Mercedes. On is the SLS AMG – which looks distinct and exclusive in appearance sporting a very appealing sight with its designo magno Night Black paint and red accents.

The Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, factually speaking, the successor to the SLR McLaren, is now being produced with sales beginning in March this year. It is the first Mercedes automobile designed in-house by AMG and the gamers know that the luxury automobile is the cover car for GT5 on PS3. The very tangible version features a 6.3-liter V8 AMG engine capable of churning 563hp with 650Nm of torque. Courtesy of this stunning power, the car pelts from 0 to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds and it has an electronically limited speed of 317km/h. Power transmission happens through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, which is ideal for a heavy-duty powerplant like the AMG V8. On the outside, a lot of aluminium has been used (space, dual wishbone suspensions) but the SLS AMG still weighs 1620kgs, which is a good 60kgs heavier than the Audi R8.
Our advice for those looking for an unique ride, who still have the “pocket” to buy a supercar should choose between the McLaren beast and the Mercedes SLS AMG. As far as the latter is concerned, the AMG gull-wing coupe will come with a 6.3-liter V8 engine capable of producing a whopping 563hp with 480lb-ft of torque. This stunning engine power will be mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox which is ideal to harness the horses. The SLS AMG clocks 3.7 seconds to hit 60mph while the overall top speed is 197mph.
