Sankt Petersburg is one of the finest cities in the world to visit, but our advice is that if you do, make sure you grab a cab and don’t drive yourself. It could be dangerous!

For those Russian billionaires with some cash on hand — given the bad economy, designer Krasnov Igor have just created Muska. It’s the Russian super car. With a little from the Ferrari F430, some Saleen S7 and a tinge of Lamborghini Reventon, the new Muska definitely stuns with its twin, military jet afterburner-inspired tail lights. It has a stylish tailpipe, an aggressive fitting body and definitely a huge price attached if it ever sees daylight. Still a charming design that deserves recognition. Don’t you think? [via Jalopnik]
I’ve just heard that the Australian Grand Prix from Melbourne might be canned, because Bernie Ecclestone, the owner of Formula One might have a deal in Russia. Last weekend he had talks with Government officials in St. Petersburg that included a new circuit to be used for a Russian Grand Prix. Rumors say that the Australian organizers refused to become a night race circuit and this may be the reason why Bernie won’t renew their contracts beyond 2010.
India is going to debut in F1 in 2010 and if Russia replaces Australia then Formula One could be dominated by Asian Grand Prix events by the end of the decade.
Russia, middle of the day, a gorgeous super-car, an Audi R8 and a crazy driver. What can these lead to? Circles on the road. Is this safe? Of course not, but what can you expect from a filthy rich guy that wants to show off. The bad thing is that he’ll probably have to change those tires and the prices are high in Russia. He’ll have to spend a few thousands for the gums. If he’s that stupid, I’m sure he affords it.
