MTM distributor Horchaus has confirmed confirms that it has not received the necessary clearances required to import Audi RS models into North America. The company says that they were not able to work through all the regulatory commissions to have the cars meet all North American regulations. They cited the lack of appropriate collaborators as one of the reasons why this could not happen.

Like the RS6 Avant wouldn’t be enough, the guys at ABT managed to get their hands on it and of course, improve it. How to improve it? Make it faster and voila. So they built a lower suspension, 20-inches wheels, a different styled front spoiler or the wing that reduces the lift. Thanks to the V10 TFSI lab experiment engine that outputs 700 bhp and 800Nm (standards was 580 bhp), the outcome is a sweet 320km/h for the new Audi RS6 Avant, 3.9 seconds to reach the hundred, instead of the standard 4.5 seconds.
It’s going to rock … but also on your wallet. What do you think of it?
