The European customers that prefer brand Renault are in for a treat this June as Renault has announced details of the limited edition Laguna Coupe Monaco GP. The Coupe can be ordered as early as next month and it will be delivered to customers in June. The Coupe features a unique color scheme of a pearl white set against the black of the roof, 18-inch alloy wheels and side-mirror housings, all of which make the Coupe look very exclusive.

On the inside, the seats are finished in Charcoal leather with the gray embroidered Monaco GP badging on the seatback. The Coupe will be offered with three diesels and a petrol variant where the petrol variant will of course be the flagship. The petrol variant will feature a 3.5 liter V6 engine that churns 240 hp and 330Nm of torque. For superior handling and a great turning circumference, the Laguna Coupe variant will also feature the 4Control, an all-wheel steering system developed by Renault Sport Technologies. The starting price for the Laguna Coupe Monaco GP will be €38,000.

If you didn’t know by now that Renault is planning to release a Laguna Coupe, it doesn’t matter. We have a few pictures for you that were spied by our friends from WorldCarFans in one of the Scandinavian countries. It’s covered as expected but still a big attraction to know the French are testing. This can only mean we’re going to see it live, sooner, maybe Geneva in March? Naaah. Rumors say 2009 is the year.
The new Renault Laguna Coupe comes will have a 3-liter V6 dci engine with 230+ hp, in two doors (sounds like a normal for me) and is going to ride head by head with the new VW Passat CC and the new CLS from Mercedes. I’m sure it will do good. Here is an artist impression on how it looks.
