The one-off Zonda that have been each one quite unique and this one is presumed to be based on the Zonda Cinque. One of the eye-catching features on the Absolute is the Italian flag stripes standing out on the matte and gloss combination of the body.

Other accompaniments that add to the style are the black rims and a dark finish in the interior. The vehicle is powered by an AMG-sourced engine which gives 499 kW (678 PS / 669 hp) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque.

Collecting rare automobiles is always special and here’s another opportunity for those hardcore aficionados who cannot just do without a rare beauty in their garage. The offering comes from Pagani and it is dubbed the Pagani Zonda Tricolore which has specially been created as a tribute to the Italian National Aerobatic Team-Frecce Tricolori. The one-off model marks the 50th anniversary of the Aerobatic Team and Pagani made it to the Geneva event with this rarity. Based on the Pagani Zonda Cinque, the Tricolore differs with a carbon fiber and titanium wired tub and front LEDs which replicate a tailfin of an airplane. The engine too is a Cinque derivative which churns 669hp with 780Nm of torque. The only Tricolore ever manufactured will cost a whopping $1.76 million (US).

Auto fanatics are aware that the Pagani C9 is slated to go public before this year’s end and it will come with a whopping price tag (€900,000) but what is more of a mystery is the shape it will adorn. There are no certain images available which is why C9 prototype spy images gain a lot of importance. Speaking of spy shots, here’s something happening in South Africa — two C9 prototypes spied in Johannesburg, one inspired by the Zonda F, while the other one featuring a rear belonging to the Zonda R territory. Even the typical Pagani quadpipe has been retained plus there are holes drilled for a dual pipe set-up so we are not quite sure what the end product will embrace. This post is bad news once again. A $1.1Million Pagani Zonda F has crashed in the streets of Hong Kong. The pictures tell the tale of one of the last ever Pagani Zondas to roll off the production line before the new one comes sometime next year.

Lots of damage, and it’s going to be lots of money to fix that baby.

The  AMG engine bridles up 678 horses and 780 Nm torque. It has ceramic-coated titanium exhaust, traction control and a a Cima six-speed sequential transmission. The aluminum/magnesium wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero rubber with carbo-ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers from Brembo. The Roadster’s curb weight is the same as the hardtop -1210kg and go from 0-100km in 3.4-seconds.

€1.3 million, plus taxes. Hurry! There are only five in production and they may already be sold out.

Apparently it’s the 18th Zonda F of only 25 in the world and the only one in the limited edition Cinque Zonda R colour scheme – due later this year. Pagani plan to produce only five samples of the Zonda Cinque. The Cinque is basically a Zonda R made for the street. The Cinque (meaning ‘five’ in Italian) is a slightly detuned version of the 7,3litre V12 engine found in other Zondas. The Cinque is still a capable performer reaching 200km/h in 9,8 seconds with a top speed of just over 350km/h. It is expected to price around €800 000.

The Zonda Cinque will house ABS and traction control designed by the ever reliable Bosch, as well as the controls for the robotized Automac sequential gearbox. It will also feature full light clusters, upholstered interior and will have no roll cage. It is likely that this may be the last Zonda variant to be produced before the model’s replacement in a few years.
