I have been driving (legally) for over five years. One would think I would have noticed the little secret on my dash that was staring me right in the face the whole time. I didn’t and I bet you probably haven’t either.

I’m going to share with you my little secret so you will no longer look like Ace Ventura on your way to the gas station or put your neck at risk of uncomfort or injury.

If you look at your gas guage, you will see a small icon of a gas pump. The handle of the gas pump will extend out on either the left or right side of the pump. If your tank is on the left, the handle will be on the left. If your tank is on the right, the handle will be on the right (see photo below). It is that simple!

I’m in the market for a new ride and was looking for some opinions online. I promtly pointed my browser to Google and came accross carseek.com.

The domain name fitted the bill and I logged onto the site. What I found was a clean designed website based mostly in text with some graphics to house the content. Being mostly texted based this resulted in a quick loading time which was pleasing. That prety much summed up what I was looking for at that point – What car to buy, how I will finance it and how I will find it. Carseek was off to a good start. Staying on the index I scrolled down to find the latest car reviews featuring cars such as the 2008 Ford Mustang or the latest Ford F-250. This provided some tasty reading materiaal while I tried to find my car of choice.

Using the top left car quote feature I selected in the drop down list “Audi” and immediatly the lower drop down listed all the available Audi models. Not a page refresh in sight. Rocking. I proceeded to surf to the Audi A3 page (a car in my price range) and was presented with a form to fill in to get my quote and some stats on the A3. No need to call the dealer they contact you!! With that out of the way and basically done with what I was looking for online. I prompted to stay on the carseek site surfing through the car reviews section which has thousands of entries just in case you haven’t made up your mind to which car you want. I also popped in to the articles section which presented articles of other automotive topics such as road rage and child safety. Carseek.com turned out to be a very fast responding informative website giving me just what I wanted and more in a clean design to ensure fast loading. Carseek has been bookmarked and I think you should to.
