A recent episode of the popular, long-running British television motor show, Fifth Gear featured the Pagani Zonda R super track car, which was checked out for speed via a test drive. To start off, the car is a beauty to behold, and the outstanding performance that was exhibited through the program makes this one vehicle that speed freaks will absolutely need to have.

The test runs of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SL have been on in Nürburgring motor sport complex in Germany. Although there were enough masking over the spectacular design changes, the spied photographs revealed the distinguish mark of Mercedes-Benz design on the flatter front nose of the car. The model has been designed by the company on a platform that resembles a classic body shape.

New spy photos of the 2012 Mercedes ML 63 AMG have emerged. The prototype was undergoing testing near the Nürburgring and was spotted with far less camouflage than ever before. A sleeker front bumper was revealed, as were sweptback headlights, a tailgate-mounted spoiler, and AMG wheels. This model too has a dual exhaust but it is still not known whether Mercedes will drop AMG’s traditional four-pipe setup.

Leaked image of the 2012 Nissan GT-R is up and running in the web and the car is expected to be unveiled later this year. This comes about two months after some spy pictures had revealed one of the two Nissan GT-R prototypes doing some tests at the Nurburgring circuit (in Germany).

If you have been waiting for the Aston Martin One-77 to arrive, gear up for the big event! A test car was recently spotted and speculations are that the final testing on the model is being undertaken currently so that customers could soon be able to take delivery of the car.

The Aston Martin One-77 test car has been caught on camera at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Going by what we see, the new sports car from Aston Martin is driven by a 7.3-liter V12 engine. The engine, we are told, would come with capabilities to deliver about 700 horsepower (522 kW / 710 PS). The automaker will be bringing in only 77 units of the car in the first batch.
Capable of racing from0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, the sports car model can touch top speeds of over 200 mph. This has been proved by a prototype, which under test conditions, ran up to 220 mph or 355 km/h speeds. Are you among the first 77 to take the car out for a spin? [via WCF]

We won’t say that Nurburgring’s Nordschliefe Circuit is prone to accidents but even then it is always good to have a Rapid Action Response Vehicle around. Why pick the Nissan GT-R is a tricky question, and we surely think that it isn’t anything to do with the fastest timing controversy. This is quite a car when talking about features as it has full roll cage and carbon fiber Recaro racing seats, to talk about a few. And even as a safety car, it is capable, thanks to the integrations which include a fire retardant tank situated at the rear passenger area, a working hose reel and an equipment bay in the boot. The only mishap that comes to the memory is that of the R8 V10, but anyways, it is always good to take precaution.
