Though heavily camouflaged, the pictures give us a fairly good idea of what the vehicle would be like. The car, tipped as a successor to Murcielago, is seen as a worthy successor to the hugely loved Murcielago.

To be driven by a fresh 6.5 liter V12 engine that returns 515 kW (700 PS / 690 bhp) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque the car will sport a 7-speed single clutch gearbox with independent shifting rods.

The Lambo Aventador LP700-4 will be able to race from 0 to 100 km/h in a matter of just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of around 350 km/h (217 mph).   The leaked images have however not spurred the car maker to speak more about it.

We say standard model, because the video images of the car doesn’t show it sporting a rear spoiler. We hear the Jota will take over from the earlier Murcielago and would come in as a lighter and lower version than the Murcielago. Under the hood will be a direct-injection V12 that returns 700 PS (515 kW).

Further, the Lamborghini Jota prototype is likely to be revealed sporting the famed Swedish  Haldex all-wheel drive system. Here’s the video:

These new photos seem to confirm this – although the car was still heavily camouflaged. The pictures were taken during additional testing that the car was undergoing. Additional details that have emerged from these pictures is that there are adjustable air intakes on each side of the engine bay – which is a feature of the current Murcielago. The new prototypes are intended to be a replacement of the Murcielago

According to previously information, the Jota will have both a lower ride height and weigh less than its predecessor due to the aluminum space-frame and carbon fiber body it has. The rear engine will be a direct-injection V12 that will produce around 700 hp powering a Haldex all-wheel drive system.

We have earlier seen the Lamborghini roll out illustrious models of the likes of the Muira, Countach, Diablo and the Murcielago. The latest model stands somewhat like a spectacular piece of design. The concept has been one of the most hyped and awaited models from the Lamborghini stables.

Reports say that the prototypes were put into trucks and carted back to Italy, even though this week was set aside for testing. This has given rise to speculation that there may be more work remaining to be completed on the models. But the fact that the prototypes appear to have gone through both the hot weather as well as winter testing phases, seems to indicate that it will make an appearance without too much delay.

Set to replace the Murcielago, the Jota sits a little lower than its predecessor, and weighs a bit less too. This lighter quality has been achieved due to the aluminum space frame that the Jota has and the carbon fiber body components.

A direct-injection V12 of around 700 horsepower hooked up to a Haldex all-wheel drive system powers the Jota. Reports say that design influences have come from the Estoque and Reventon.

Reportedly, two models will be unveiled – the Lamborghini LB715-5 and the Lamborghini 83X.  The LB715-5 is supposedly a Murcielago replacement that is using a V12 engine and delivers between 715 and 825 horsepower (533 to 615 kW).  Some sources say it uses Austrian firm Carbo Tech’s carbon-fiber tub.

As for the other model, there are rumors that the 83X will take over for the Gallardo; others say it could be a competing with the Ferrari 599 GTB.

It is understood that at the Paris Show, the company will be trying to focus attention on the 83X – which has one hour allotted to it, according to the leaked schedule; as compared to just 25 minutes for the LB715-5.

More details are expected to come out after a possible Lamborghini dealer meeting that is set to take place on the 23^rd of September.

Regardless of whether this materializes, there will be concrete details for sure on September 30^th, when the Paris Motor Show begins.

Enthusiasts expect that the teaser images will follow a similar strategy as that used for the Estoque concept – judging by the detailed close up shots. So the expectation is that the remaining five images that are yet to come in will slowly unveil the car step by step just ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show which is set to begin on September 30th.

The initial word is that the car is called Jota and will be a supercar that has a new direct-injection V12 engine stamping out at least 700 PS (515 kW / 690 bhp). Information coming in says that from standstill to 100km/h will transpire in around 3.0 seconds, while top speed kicks in at 370km/h (230 mph).

Sources say that the car weighs in at less than 1,500 kg, and the body monocell on the Jota will be similar to the McLaren MP4-12C. Design will be along the lines of the Reventon, with new scissor doors that will corkscrew out and up. Word on the pricing is that it will in the same range as the LP 640.

Lamborghini President Stephan Winkelmann was pleased to achieve the feat as he believed that Lamborghini was successful with its product strategy and model range. Precisely, the 4,000th model was the LP 670-4 SuperVeloce featuring a 6.5L V12 beast that produces 661hp with 660Nm of torque. This amazing engine power helps the car dash from 0 to 60mph in 3.2 seconds while the super sports car achieves a top speed of 212mph. It will be a Chinese customer who will receive this landmark model that embraces Arancione Atla Orange on the outside and Alcantara material with black sports seats on the inside.

You have a Lamborghini Murcielago in the garage, but the little beast doesn’t stand out as you’d like. Well here’s a little something to use as inspiration. Apparently somewhere in London (we’d expect to see it either in Russia or Dubai to be honest), this Murcielago has been covered with an adhesive foil/wrap with chrome finish. If the economic downturn has left you with piles of cash that you don’t know what to spend on, you should know that a new Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster is going to be produced in a 50-units limited production. Although we only have a leaked image with the car, we do know it features a flamboyant Grigio Telesto exterior that adds orange touches to a dark grey body work. With a beefed up engine that is nothing but a speculation for the moment (maybe Reventon’s 6.5-liter V12 engine?), the car is nothing short of breathtaking.
