Designer Slavche Tanevsky is the guy guilty for coming up with this amazing & aggressive concept car. Dubbed Lamborghini Ankonian, the vehicle is meant as an upgrade to the famous Lamborghini Reventon and continues with the stealth fighter jet inspiration (already becoming a habit for the Italian manufacturer) for coming out with a pimped version of a Batmobile. Make it a radar-evasive car and take it to the production lines, that’ll make our day. [via fubiz]
You have a Lamborghini Murcielago in the garage, but the little beast doesn’t stand out as you’d like. Well here’s a little something to use as inspiration. Apparently somewhere in London (we’d expect to see it either in Russia or Dubai to be honest), this Murcielago has been covered with an adhesive foil/wrap with chrome finish. There’s no news that we fall for everything that starts with L and ends with amborghini, but looking at this new Lamborghini Reventon Roadster it’s more like an adrenaline shot directly into your veins. Meant as the most extreme car in the history of the brand, the new Reventon Roadster delivers not just a superior performance but also an amazing driving experience in an open-top Italian supercar that takes our breath away. Speaking of specs, this little monster runs on a 6.5L V-12 supercar that puts out 662 horsepower, sprints to 62mph in 3.4 seconds and tops at 205mph (about 330km/h).
Available in Reventón Grey with two-tone matte-and-glossy finished wheels, the new Lamborghini Reventon Roadster provides “an unusual visual impact, [and] also a turbine effect that further improves cooling of the mighty ceramic brake discs.” And if you were wondering how much it will sell for, how does 1.1 million Euros before taxes (asome $1.6 million at today’s rate) sound? It is still a speculation, but nonetheless exciting — Lamborghini will unveil an ultra-exclusive Reventon Roadster but sadly this lacks a confirmation from the Italian automaker. With Ferrari unveiling the Italia 458, this could be a real fun competition to follow. It’s difficult to get concrete here as even the roadster version booked for a whopping €1.1 million by some also hangs in the balance.
Today’s unveiling though is only meant for select clients which will be surely some special ones as only 20 of these are slated to be produced. The engine and gear transmission configuration is also not known and what is being associated is that the initial intentions were to produce a LP670-4SV Roadster but the engine issues have reformed it into a Reventon Roadster.
The weekend that just passed was a good one for Lamborghini because they’ve just announced the Blancpain Super Trofeo at Hockenheim, in Germany.
It’s actually a racing series that will run in the FIA GT Championship, DTM, and FIA WTCC series featuring some Gallardo LP560-4 goodies and only deep-pocketed private owners (costs €200,000), dealer teams and a single, Lambo-sponsored “celebrity driver”, will get their hands on the steering wheel of the Super Trofeo.
Just some quick specs to see what you’re missing it packs a race-specific chassis adjustments, ABS brakes and wheels with Pirelli slicks, aero tweaks while under the hood, a “little” 5.2L direct-injected V10 monster sends 570 horses to all four wheels thatnks to the e.gear six-speed sequential gearbox. We’ll see it starting next May @ Silverstone. WICKED!!!

Check out what a guy in the suburbs did to make sure his Countach’s and Diablos are safe from scratches and such. It must be the ultimate and most amazing Lamborghini garage I’ve ever seen. Call it clever or ingenious … but Lambo owners know their stuff.
