This is the supercars day from what I see, but it’s understandable if we consider what beauties have been unveiled during the International Motor Show in Geneva. Here’s Koenigsegg that decided to come up with two limited editions: Koenigsegg CCX and Koenigsegg CCX.
The reason why they built these two new models is simple “Due to request from certain Koenigsegg Clients and Customers” so even if the price is spicy, there’s demand.
But let me give you some details. Both have a 4.8L twin supercharged Koenigsegg engine with the CCX producing 888 bhp while the CCXR (bio flexi fuel) will come up with nothing less than 1018 bhp. Other specs include stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, reset dampers and lowered chassis, a fully visible carbon body, larger front splitter and beautiful wheels.

Only 14 CCX models will be built for 1,33M Euro and 6 CCXR versions for 1,5M Euro.

As if the Sin City wouldn’t have enough things to make people go WOW, the first Koenigsegg CCX was delivered last weekend to Exotic Cars at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas where is the only American dealership. The employees waited for it for more than a year and when it finally came, they all flocked (among others, of course) to see it.

The Koenigsegg CCX was sold for $935,000 and the new owner should be happy to go 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds and 7 seconds for 100mph. The top-speed of 245 mph and the fighter look of it, should be the reasons why it’s worth waiting 10 years for one.
The supercar should be picked up in the coming weeks by its owner, while 10 others are waiting in line to get one.
