The talented folks at GeigerCars.de have just unveiled a new edition of the Hummer H2 and the name is a dedication to the brown/beige paint scheme. The Latte Macciatto Hummer H2 is a combination of a bold exterior mated with aggressive 30-inch chrome wheels outfitted with 315/30R30 tires. The color scheme is evident even on the interior with the beige leather, Alcantara upholstery and piano lacquer trim. Talking about power, the Latte Macciatto houses a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 547 PS and 763 Nm of torque. The engine power assisted by the forced induction helps the Hummer clock 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, while it tops it out at 228 km/h.

Remember me saying that the sheiks in the UAE can afford some of the most exquisite cars in the world (if not all of them)? Well I was right. Another example – not as wicked as the H3 on wheels, that the financial crisis managed to skip some countries, this highly customized Hummer H2 Convertible has been spied relaxing in front of the Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace Hotel. The seven-seater has a custom paint job with a matching red leather interior and an aftermarket fiberglass (fiberglass, are you guys serious?) hood scoop with integrated Hella lights that really steal the show. However, we can’t help but wonder why isn’t the car clad in gold? The sheiks are weird … isn’t it? [via gtspirit.com]

It’s not pretty, it’s somehow funny, but what I would like to know is how safe this is. I’m talking about a Hummer H3 that packs authentic wagon wheels installed in place of its 32-inch offroading tires. And no, it’s not a Wild Wild West modern movie if you wanted to know, it’s just Matthew Harrison’s mixture of art, engineering and motoring.
If you want my honest opinion, it’s just a bunch of bull because that thing will never run on streets (I guess breaks are useless, or need to be adjusted?) and it’s really ugly. Isn’t it? Why would you make a Hummer 3 look like that, it’s still beyond my imagination. The wooden-wheeled H3 will be on display courtesy of the Limoncello gallery in East London. Check it out if you’re there.

HUMMER USA takes customisation one step further with the “HUMMER Colour Customization Campaign”. This campaign allows HUMMER buyers, especially women, to customize their HUMMER H3 to match their personality and attitude. With an option of ten spectacular custom colours including ‘tough cookie lilac’ and ‘side kick pink’, women can make their vehicles distinctive.
The unique exterior colour can also be carried onto the inside, with colour coded bucket seats and centre console to really make the custom H3 stand out. “When I first chose to change my car, I told my husband I wanted a pink HUMMER. Two weeks later I was the owner of this beautiful lilac model and I can’t stop flaunting it,” said Jane McMorrow.
An H3 with a custom colour paintjob is sure to attract attention and envious stares from onlookers but it’s not just about being flashy. Having just the right shade of colour makes the vehicle a valuable personal belonging and reflects on the owner’s colourful outlook of life. That’s why HUMMER gives women the option of mixing various available shades to come up with a totally new and unique shade.
Johnny Amiuoni, Marketing Manager for HUMMER at GM Middle East believes the campaign gives women freedom and power to create an H3 that reflects their uniqueness and beauty. South African HUMMERs come in a variety of colours and specification levels.

With the war against emissions and environmentalists criticizing big trucks with low mpg consumption, GM decided to stop producing the Hummer. However, rest assured because rumors are tsaying that either Tata or Mahindra would probably take over, but none of them cared to comment.
I don’t know for sure if that’s a good investment because Hummer is already a bleeding brand and cars like the Chevrolet Volt or hybrids are really getting market share over here, not to mention the high gas prices one would have to pay. It’s true that if you can afford a Hummer you’ll most likely afford to pay twice as much as you’re paying right now for a full tank, so we’d better keep an eye coz we might see Indian Hummers soon!
.. and you thought your tax money was going to waste?

General Motors is readying an updated version of the Hummer H2, which is expected to debut at the Chicago auto show in the states this month. A single photograph was leaked to the DailyVoice today of what appears to be the revised H2′s all-new interior.
While its authenticity cannot be confirmed, the image appears to be the real deal. GM’s development team has put an increased emphasis on interior quality and styling with its latest round of redesigns, including some of it’s other cars in production.
It’s not known if the H2 will also receive exterior design changes or powertrain upgrades. I like the look of this interior better than the previous one, especially since GM ditched those hideous bubble-like air vents on the old line of Hummers. Expect the updated Hummer line to reach our shores end year for the few oil investors that can afford them.
We have seen it all…I mean, the ultra-blingy roadsters, be it, the diamond-covered Mercedes, all-chrome BMW and the gold plated Porsche. But, if you are still waiting for few more, then your wish is granted! Bucharest Luxury Show 2006 showcased gold plated cars from the RealGold company. The company apparently customizes your car as per your needs, so you can pimp your ride, just the way you want!
