Lexus CT200h to Debut in Geneva

Lexus is going to grab a lot of eyes at this year’s Geneva Motor Show and one of the reasons has to do with the fact that the company is going to unveil the new Lexus CT200h the only, full hybrid vehicle in the premium compact segment.

Featuring second generation Lexus Hybrid Drive technology, the CT200h reinforces Lexus’ hybrid leadership in the premium market, joining the RX450h, GS450h and LS600h L to create an unprecedented range of full-hybrid vehicles.

The Lexus LFA will also be on show at Geneva, offering the opportunity to review the critically-acclaimed supercar in Europe before the initial order period closes at the end of the motor show.

Lexus’ press conference will be conducted by Mr. Andy Pfeiffenberger, Vice President Lexus Europe, and is scheduled for 16.45 on 2nd March, on Stand 4211 in Hall 4.

Stile Bertone Alfa Romeo 159 Teaser Sketch

Over the years we’ve loved many different versions of the Alfa Romeo 159 and with 100 years for the moniker arriving, Fiat promises a special treat at the Geneva Motor Show. This one is a teaser sketch of the Stile Bertone’s version of the Alfa Romeo 159 which will expectedly be a two-door coupe. Other than this, famous Fiat design houses Pininfarina and Italdesign Giugiaro will also ready their design proposals for the event, which will surely please the Alfa Romeo admirers. While Bertone’s two –door coupe design will be launched to celebrate the centenary celebrations in 2012, the other two design firms will also contribute equally with Pininfarina already working on a two-seater spider. The spider will feature a 444hp producing V8 beast from the 8C Competizione. Bertone will sure reveal more teasers before the event to keep the fanatics interested.

Limited Edition Mazda MX-5 to debut at Geneva

Mazda MX-5 20th Anniversary Special Edition 1

For the Japanese, a limited edition Mazda MX-5 Miata, celebrating the 20th anniversary is no surprise as the model has been already launched in Japan. For the rest of the world, the special edition Mazda Mx-5 Miata will make a debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Mazda will sell 2,000 units of the car each with an improved exterior and suspension along with a chrome line kit that will glorify the grille, the handles and the headlights. It will surface with a 1.8-liter European-spec engine that helps the car dash from 0 to 100km/h in 9.4 seconds. Imparting a unique identity to the car will be a set of 20th Anniversary-badged 17-inch alloy wheels. The 2,000 special customers will have three color schemes to choose from- Aurora Blue, Crystal White Pearl, and True Red.
