Swiss tuning house BF Performance has worked its magic on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 with its GT600 tuning package which can be used both for the Coupe and the Spyder. BF Performance was inspired by the fact that the Gallardo is a very innocent car which is neither dynamic nor individual enough and hence BFP set out to make it look more aggressive using aerodynamics also reducing weight in the bargain.
The kit comes with new side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear wing all of which are made of carbon fiber. Though the engine mod details have not been made public, the tuning house claims that the GT600 helps the car with better acceleration while the use of Carbon-ceramic brakes take care of the speed. On the inside, the passengers get sports seats and a rollover cage. Available for order right away, the BF team can even redo the Gallardo with a rear-wheel drive-train.
Can you imagine that for some people, simply owning a Lamborghini Gallardo is not enough? That seems to be the case with this guy who’s showing off with a custom bike (bearing the Lambo moniker) and a custom trailer to carry it around town. So if we’re to make the math, it’s $250k for the car, some $150k for the bike and another $10k for the trailer — a total of $410k, just to be seen. Not bad, eh?
The ultimate Gallardo successor is still a mystery and many predict that it will not happen before 2012 which means rumors about an updated Lambo Gallardo LP570-4 model get your adrenaline to higher levels. Supposedly headed for the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, the nomenclature signifies the addition of 10hp which will take the overall count to 570 horsies equally distributed to the four wheels of the new Gallardo. Minor changes on the inside will also be evident along with changes on the outside embracing aerodynamics — a new front spoiler, a carbon fiber rear wing and an all new front suspension arrangement. Carbon ceramic brakes may help the car come to a halt but this is again an assumption as of now. [via Autoblog]
ENCO have been developing a new styling and performance package for the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4. The new package gives you the ability to completely overhaul your car’s exterior by adding carbon fiber components such as a boot cover (for about €3990), a front bumper (€2990) and a front splitter (just €990). But that’s not all you’re getting as this little monster comes with a matte black foil wrap (€3000), more aggressive side skirts (€3990), mirrors and custom boot lid vents (€4000). The package holds some goodies for the car’s interior as well, such as a carbon fiber trim for the steering wheel, new handbrake and dashboard, and new door handles – all for a mere €5000. But if you’re not into looks, only, there’s also a performance package for the 5.2l V10 engine, boosting power to 620 hp and 575 Nm torque.
Underground Racing have been quite busy lately, this time modifying a Lamborghini Gallardo. Ordered by a person named Jonah, the modified Gallardo can produce the impressive 1500 horsepower running on VP C16 racing fuel. It’s worth mentioning that the model loses a lot of the engine’s original power by the time it’s reached the tires – an estimated 25% for this vehicle, which means that the original produced power may go up to 1900 HP! When testing the car, Jonah took the quarter mile on the track in under 10 seconds, coming in at a little over 160 mph. Even though, from his words, it’s been a while since he’s took her to the track, he still managed to bring out the beast in this already respectable car.
If up until now we had our time with leopard hanging out in Audi TTs, French drivers that park in their “own” way or amazing Still Dre cars from Serbia, today you’re going to check out an in-depth review of the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. Behind the wheel, Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear. Enjoy!
The wicked tuners from Wheelsandmore are out at it again to prove their creativity and this time around the guys got their hands on a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 620 that they called YarroW. With an added ECU tampering, a carbon airbox and a stainless steel exhaust system with valve control, the little monster has been upgraded to output 620 little horsies and 580 lb-ft of torque (785 Nm).
With that much power under the hood, there’s need for a beefed-up braking system with 8-piston calipers fitted on the front wheels and 6-piston calipers for the rear, and an upgraded suspension with a special coil over that lifts (hydraulic, of course) up to 1.77 inches. But the Gallardo tuning kit wouldn’t be complete without some exterior changes. That’s why Wheelsandmore have added a set of stylish 20-inch wheels with 3-piece forged rims available in multiple colors.
So how about prices? The engine tuning is 12,500 Euro, the braking system about 14,000 Euro, the suspension will cost an additional 9,000 Euro, with rather expensive wheels at 11,400 Euro.
The convertible version of the Gallardo just hit the floors in Los Angeles. Dubbed Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder it’s nothing but a mix of stunning design and amazing power. Under the hood, there’s a 5.2 liter V10 engine that develops 560 hp (40hp more than the Gallardo) and 540 Nm of torque. Also featuring an E-Gear automatic transmission that should help you shift gears 40-percent faster, doing 0 to 100km/h in just 4 seconds and a top speed of 324 km/h, and with a beautiful roof that only takes 20 seconds to retract, the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder sure looks like an awesome drive.
Whenever I rent a car I always try to take good care of it no matter what I’m driving. It’s someone else’s car and for some money they allow me drige it. It’s common sense to make sure I stay on the road and the car doesn’t get injured. That’s not what a group of late 20’s Asian men thought.
They were all invited to a wedding and decided to drive supercars (all rented). Since bragging about speed and drinking are not the best friends of a driver, they all felt brave and immediately left the ceremony, for what? To race of course! I’m pretty sure you’ve already seen the photo so not sure if it needs any more comments. The idiots crashed the Lamborghini in a tree, and then fled.
Doesn’t it sound like fun? I’m dying to know what happened when these guys had to return their rented supercars. Will they have to pay anything for the damages or for DUI ?

A few good improvements have been added to the beautiful Gallardo, now that they launched an update. It’s a new more efficient, all-aluminum engine, larger from 5.0L to 5.2L, that sports 560hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. Sounds like a good add-on if we compare it to Ferrari 430 Scuderia which is missing 49 hp and 51 lb-ft of torque …
The 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 (yes 560hp) uses an improved e-Gear sequential transmission that now takes 40 percent less time to shift gears, comes with changed front valances used for better cooling and changed rear that has a diffuser. Interior upgrades are not big, but they exist: a revised instrument panel, new headlamps and luggage area, and the claim of better driveability, stability, and handling.
In order to promote their supped up Gallardo who’s V10 has been enhanced with a pair of turbos pushing output to 709 Hp, Heffner-Performance, a Florida based tuner, put the small Lambo against its bigger bro, the 580 Hp Murcielago. Apparently you needn’t be a rocket scientist to guess who wins…
