The cabin is well-equipped with a snake skin leather interior including heated leather seats, high gloss trim and a Harley-Davidson badge on the center console. Voice-activated GPS navigation, a 4.2-inch productivity screen, a remote start system, a power moon-roof and brushed aluminum scuff plates are all part of the package.

The other standard features of the truck include a rear-view camera, ambient lighting, 110v-power inverter and power adjustable performance pedals.

The 6.2-litre V8 gasoline engine which uses big-bore architecture produces a power of 411 hp (306 kW/ 417 PS) and a torque of 434 lb-ft (588 Nm). An optional four wheel drive system is attached to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Ford assures that the vehicle has a maximum trailer towing capacity of 7,500 pounds (3,402 kilograms).

The new model adds to the collaborated Ford-Harley-Davidson F-series trucks.

The new RS model would remain with its current front-wheel drive strategy and continue to deploy the ‘Revoknuckle’ suspension that allows Ford to put 224 kW through the front wheels without creating excessive torque steer.

Rumours that circulated about the new RS being an all-wheel drive by adopting electric motors to power the rear axle have been denied.

The current RS’s Volvo-sourced 2.5 litre five-cylinder turbo engine has the potential for an upgrade and Ford is trying to get even more out of it. It is hoped that the Focus RS will be launched in 2013.

Although, no details regarding the specifics of the vehicles have been revealed, Ford has hinted that we can expect a “major new design concept” and “details of the next Focus performance car.”

This gives us some clues about the unveiling of the Focus ST, which is to come equipped with a 2.0-litre EcoBoost mill that would give 250 PS (184 kW / 247 hp) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque.

Ford still has the mystery quotient intact regarding their other prospective releases but by the looks of the teaser (posted above) we can expect something racy from the car manufacturer.

Smaller and lighter than the current model, the variant is also reported to feature improved-interiors with higher quality materials and advanced technology. But the retro styling will remain the same.

The 2014 Mustang is expected to be powered by a 2.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and a 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) 5.4-liter V8 engine. Previous reports have suggested that the EcoBoost will displace 2.3-liters and a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 will also be offered.

In order to improve handling and ride comfort, Mustang is likely to adopt an independent rear suspension. A torque vectoring system like the 2012 Focus might also be incorporated.

The next-generation Mustang will be offered globally with right-hand drive for Australia, Japan and the United Kingdom.

Ford is reported to have geared up for a new car seat that features a heart-rate monitor! It can measure your pulse through the clothing from sensors on the seat back, which in turn can be used for safety systems or to instruct the driver.

Want to know how it works? The six embedded sensors connected to the seat detect electrical impulses generated by a heartbeat which will further be used to identify cardiovascular problems experienced by the customer while driving.

The project is a joint venture between Ford’s European Research and Innovation Centre in Aachen, Germany and Achen University’s Rheinisch-Westfalische Technische Hochschule (RWTH).

The technology will, no doubt, be of immense help in a scene when the number of older drivers on road appears only to increase.

The package features a sport-tuned suspension, a strut tower brace and a revised electronic stability control system, a high performance braking system and a 3.31 rear axle ratio. Powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that develops 305 hp (227 kW / 309 PS) and 280 lb-ft (379 Nm) of torque, its unique 19-inch wheels and Pirelli performance tires provide superb grip and aggressive appearance. Coupe is able to return to 19 mpg city / 29 mpg highway, when paired to a six-speed manual transmission.

The best part of the news for the Mustang fans is that they got an opportunity to name the model!  Ford is reported to have reached out to nearly 1.4 million fans on the Mustang Facebook page as a result of which 3,000 submissions were made to the page and nearly 6,700 users installed the “You Name It” app. Eventually it comes before you as “Mayhem Mustang Package”.

Apart from the teased image posted on Facebook, no further details have been revealed by the manufacturer. As per the guesses based on the image, the car will feature a glowing charging port surround and plenty of EV badging.

It will be powered by a 23 kWh lithium-ion battery. This will enable the vehicle to travel approximately 100 miles that is 161 km, that too on a single charge.

The2012 Ford Focus EV will be available in the markets such as Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, New York, Orlando, Phoenix, Tucson, Portland, Raleigh Durham, Richmond, Seattle, and Washington, D.C later this year on sale.

Designed with young families in mind, the vehicle has a hands-free tailgate that can be opened with a leg hooking the bumper open; a glass roof and a passive entry system.

The seating arrangement is ’5+2′ with a sliding second row, which can be customized to fit the occupants’ needs. A variety of options are available in the vehicle, like leather upholstery, heated front seats, GPS navigation etc.

Of the two engines available, the 2.5-liter I4 produces 168 hp (125 kW / 170 PS) and 167 lb-ft (226 Nm), while the 1.6-liter EcoBoost provides 180 hp (134 kW / 183 PS) and 173 lb-ft (234 Nm) of torque.

Both are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Reports say that the vehicle so stay tuned for more information.

The F-150 was made by A.R.E. Accessories with the aim of promoting the mission of the Pro Football Hall of Fame to educate, honor and preserve the history of professional football.

It has several football-oriented aspects to its design including a stadium-inspired vinyl wrap, pigskin leather seats, and interior accents based on the hall of fame.

Another pickup in the line up is the Mickey Thompson F-150, which has 35-inch Baja Claw TTC Radical tires,  Fabtech 6-inch suspension, PIAA auxiliary lighting with the interiors outfitted with Katzkin leather.

There is also a green F-150 by the Custom Shop, which uses a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine and has lightweight wheels and low-rolling-resistance tires for improved fuel efficiency. Additional tweaks include a custom paint job and Katzkin leather. The Skyjacker F-350 offers an 8.5-inch suspension lift, front and rear Fab Fours bumpers, and a Warn winch.

From Rize Industries comes an F-350 with an 8-inch quad-link, power washer, an air compressor, and a built-in motorcycle stand. Cars by Kris and Airhead Kustoms has on show the F-350 Pit Boss which has been described as the “ultimate tow and support vehicle” for racing.

This vehicle is definitely a multi tasker, featuring a bed-mounted tire cage, custom swing-case toolboxes, leather upholstery, and a dash-mounted computer.

The interior is not exempt from the styling and has a cockpit with two-tone leather sport seats, contrast stitching, and faux carbon fiber trim. Although the public has been told that the vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine with 250 PS (184 kW / 247 hp), Ford is keeping other specifications a secret until the big reveal.

A statement from the company says that the car provides a heady cocktail of ‘exhilarating performance and handling accompanied by an addictive sound’

Also, the vehicle is the first high-performance model developed under its global Performance Vehicles strategy. Though this sounds like it means that the car will be available in the US, this has not been confirmed yet. More information will be released on September 30th, and the car will be available on the market in 2011.
