Fiat Gucci Special Edition 500 for Milan Debut

Fiat and Gucci have joined hands and they are all set to introduce their special edition Fiat 500. The 500 features an exclusive body with chrome accents, 16-inch alloy wheels as well as the Gucci’s signature stripe on both the sides. Interior of the auto includes two-tone leather seats, gloss black trim, and plenty of Gucci branding. The vehicle will be available in white or black shades.

The Stratos is acknowledged to be one of the most legendary cars in the history of the automobile. With acclaim that started forty years ago when it was first unveiled as a prototype at the 1970 Turin Motor Show, the Stratos has taken several world championship titles as part of a five year winning spree. The reason it is back in the news is due to the fact that people have glimpsed what he looks like the new versionof Stratos making its rounds on the Fiat Group’s test track near Milan.

Fiat 500 Blackjack Special Edition For Key European Markets

Fiat’s new special edition 500 Blackjack has been outed. To be driven in to dealerships by September, the car would be made available in the European markets by then. We get to learn that Fiat would sell the high end version for prices starting at €18,350 in the Italian car market.

The Fiat 500 Blackjack will come with four different engines. The petrol variants will sport a 900cc TwinAir with 84 bhp (63 kW / 85 PS). The 1.2-liter with 69 bhp (51 kW / 70 PS), and a 1.4-liter with 100 bhp (75 kW / 101 PS) will be part of the pick. Meanwhile, the diesel variant would offer 95 bhp (71 kW / 96 PS) 1.3-liter Multijet II.

To be rolled out in matte black hues and glossy accents, the car will have 16-inch alloy wheels, and red brake calipers. Leather upholstery and silver trim will be part of the package. That’s a bit different than the Fiat 500 pink we’ve seen some time ago. Eh?

There is absolutely no surety whether Fiat will ever go ahead with the production of Lancia Coupe but some mysterious images found on the official site are now hinting at a different probability. Indeed, there wasn’t a single image but a number of images showcasing different designs of the Lancia vehicles. Some familiar designs included the Fulvia and GT Stilnovo, while a couple of designs were seen for the first time. The Ypsilon which is slated for a replacement was also included in the mysterious set of images. It seems that Fiat is in the mood to surprise us in the near future.

Luca di Montezemolo has stepped down as the chairman of Fiat and he is to be replaced by 34-year-old John Elkann. Montezemolo will however continue to function as the president of Ferrari and he declined any reports of joining the Italian Politics or even forming an individual party, insisting that he will always be on the Fiat board and he will never stop heading Ferrari. Montezemolo also mentioned that he is still in favor of major teams such as Ferrari and McLaren being allowed three cars in the Grand Prix circuit. Another one of his desires is to see Rossi competing in the F1 after he wins the MotoGP for the umpteenth time this season.
