The Italian tuning house TECHART has revealed a tuning package to facelift the Porsche Cayman and the Boxster. The tuning kit includes a pair of TUV certified aerokits with LED daytime runners, carbon fiber interior touches and sport springs. Talk about the bodywork, the facelift package comes with a front spoiler, a body colored spoiler lip, side sills and a new-looking rear end. The down-force has been improved at multiple points on the car especially the rear where a rigid rear spoiler and apron together ensure that the car stays on road even at extreme speeds. On the inside there is a combination of carbon interiors and aluminum pedals along with a three-spoke steering wheel and lit entry sills.
The ones who prefer a front-wheel drive to an all-wheel variant will be pleased to know that the latest Acura RDX has finally arrived with a version for them and that would indeed be the baseline option for the future models. The details for the Acura RDX haven’t been made public but you would find them on the company’s official website. As per the information, this Facelifted Acura RDX 2010 will come with a new front corporate grille and a new bumper. The alloy wheels are also new, and so is the rear bumper sports trim.

A 2.3L turbocharged variant powers the grind to furnish 240hp and 260 lb-ft at 4500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic shift transmission with paddles for semi-automatic changes. On the inside you would find an automatic dual-zone, humidity control and air filtration. Other integrations include Bluetooth connectivity, a USB audio and iPod interface plus a 6-CD in-dash changer. The engine fetches you 19 mpg for the city and 24mpg for the highway. The AWD gets you 17 and 22mpg. The base model (FWD is priced at US$32,520, while the AWD with Super-Handling is priced $2,000 higher. [via carscoop]
Some official images of the revamped 2010 Acura RDX seems to have been whacked from the database. These images are primarily that of the front but a few conclusions can also be made about the rear section. The SUV will have an entirely different front end with noticeable modifications of the air intakes, fog lamps and the grille. The changes to the rear include hexagonal tailpipes and use of some black mesh material at the center.

Also, there is a part of the redesigned rear bumper which better accommodates the exhaust. The 2WD variant that promises 19mpg economy with a 200lb weight reduction for the Acura RDX is also around the corner and this face-lifted variant will probably be released simultaneously.

With the 2009 Auto Show just about the corner in Geneva, more and more manufacturers are teasing us with images and specs. Volvo does the same. They’ve just announced that for next week’s show the company is preparing to bring in a stylish facelifted Volvo S80. Featuring a larger grille with a more prominent Volvo logo, chrome trimmed front air intakes and stylish cues, the new S80 will probably win you over with its elegant interior. Blessed with a twin-turbo five-cylinder 2.4-liter turbo-diesel engine that sports 205 hp and 420 Nm of torque and a lowered sport chassis, we’re definitely in for a test drive. Volvo, call us!

I’m not a fan of small cars, but I always thought Peugeot 107 had “something” to attract. However, the French thought it’s time for a change and decided to announce the Peugeot 107 Facelift, that will make the small bugger look more interesting to young people (their new target) and will also be more fuel efficient. The facelift will include a newly design front end and lower front panel with side vents and a large chrome strip on the bumper, that will make the new Peugeot 107 look much more robust. Along with these changes, they’re also going to offer two new colors : Mandaline Orange and Electra Blue. Doesn’t look bad for a street car, don’t you think?
It seems that 900.000 C4′s sold in 4 years is not enough for Citroen. They want more, and they intend to have more by giving us a few improvements to the good old C4.

On the outside you will get a curvier car, with a front end that mimics the C5, a touch of chrome, a few new body colors and alloy wheels are other ingredients that complete the outside look recipe. As for the inside, velor or leather can cover the interiors and the rev-counter will now be in the center of the dashboard. With the new C4 Citroen will introduce their new “MyWay” navigation system with a hi-res 7-inch color screen.
As for the engines, the 1.6i 16V and 2.0i 16V will be replaced with two new engines co-developed with BMW. Both will have a displacement of 1.6-liters, the first is a normally aspirated 120hp Vti with Variable valve lift and Timing Injection whilst the 150hp THP (Turbo High Pressure ) engine comes in at 150hp.
Pretty nice, huh?
Mazda released the first pictures of the new Mazda 5 that comes with a facelift in 2008, and will make a real presentation of the car at the Bologna Motor Show that starts December 7th.

The new Mazda 5 has a few modifications worth mentioning and I will start with what we see on the outside. You can now choose power sliding doors and the dampers are changed a bit. The interior the mid panel with the dashboard functions was redesigned and include a DVD navigation system and a touch screen display.
Now that I got to the part that I enjoy the most, performance, you should know it’s not just the looks that will change on the 2008 model. Mazda 5 is now powered by a MRZ 2.0-liter engine with electronic throttle and sequential valve timing, and features two types of transmission to choose from. One is a 6-speed manual and the other one is a 5-speed automatic.
The last thing I will add is the new suspension that offers better stability at high speeds and the optimized brake booster that will slow you down, safe.
