As part of plans to bring eight diesel engine variants in the U.S by 2014, Mercedes will be adding the GLK250 BlueTec to the existing range of E-, M-, GL- and R- class models. Also on offer in the near future would be a diesel S class. We might also see an upgraded 2012 C class in September, but its diesel version could take at least another year.

Brabus has introduced the world’s most powerful sedan at the Frankfurt Auto show recently. It is the 4th generation of their E V12. Custom front bucket seats, leather and Alcantara covered rear seats with carbon fiber for the interior trim. The crowd stunning feature is the raw power of the 6.3 liter engine at 800hp, that’s 125 hp+ per liter. Four exhaust pipes at the rear warn people this is no sedate sedan. The ugly duckling feature is the speed pads, basically a cover on the rear wheels to improve aerodynamics, while the front end is designed to minimize aerodynamic lift on the front axle, boosting steering traction. Looks nothing short of cool!
