Have you ever wondered who’d win if Dubai (the UAE) would fight with Monaco for who owns the most exotic, exclusive or expensive supercars in the world? Apparently someone did and came up with this amazing compilation “Supercars : Dubai vs Monaco”. Jaw dropping, isn’t it?

More than 200 cars where involved this morning in a mass accident that took place on
Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway. Six people were killed and hundreds injured.
The accident happened because of weather conditions. A very thick morning fog was responsible for bad visibility and drivers ended up into the pile up one after another at full speed. The same weather conditions made injured helicopter transfer almost impossible so the rescue and ambulance departments had to drive to the scene.
25 cars caught on fire and and Abu Dhabi police officer said that :
“The crash happened because everyone was speeding despite the severe weather conditions. Drivers weren’t leaving a safe distance between cars and this resulted in everyone hitting each other after the first crash.”

Following the Bugatti Veyron that got a parking ticket a few days ago, here is something new that you could be interested in. Did you know that about 1/5th of Bugatti Veyrons have been sold in Dubai? Consider the 1.5 million people population and the fact that 15 have been sold there and you get a pretty nice ratio, 1 supercar for every 100,000 people.
In the other direction, 37 units have been sold in Great Britain where they have a 60 million population so the rate is pretty bad. I guess business is doing great in Dubai if they have 15 millionaires to afford a Bugatti Veyron.
