The new Kia Cadenza was presented to the Korean public today, creating a wave of excitement among them. The new vehicle will be the replacement for the Opirus/Amanti and will be called K7 in its home country. There are a lot of obvious borrowings from the design of the KND-5 Contept Car, and it’s worth noting that this is the first vehicle to use Kia’s new platform, branded “Type-N”.

The Cadendza comes out a bit shorter than its predecessor, but it’s been redesigned to make it a bit more roomy for occupants. There are also various other luxury goodies added to the interior, such as special lighting, a welcoming system, and advanced air conditioning. The car is driven by a 3.5l V6 engine capable of producing 290 hp and 338 Nm of torque, so it should give you the performance you’d expect.

Word is that the 2010 Ford C Max is going to be an Iosis Max derivative, and by looking at these official images, it looks like it. However, why it looks so much like the Ford Kuga is an explanation yet missing. Anyhow, moving further with the fresh set of specs, the C Max is based on the ‘Kinetic Design Language’ and consequently the commuter boasts a dynamic appearance with tapering roofline and giant wheels.
As far as the engine is concerned, the C-Max comes with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine along with other options in petrol and diesel which hail from the ‘Kuga’ territory. C-max will be the first vehicle riding on the new global C-Segment platform something which will be seen in the next-gen Focus. For more details, we will have to wait until the Frankfurt event.

The fact that the Lotus Elise Club Racer has made it to the production floor was no surprise but until now, the details about the car were scant. Lotus has now gone ahead and confirmed some of the initial details about the Club Racer and it has been told that the car is inspired by classic Elise models from the 1960s. Even the color choices available highlight that retro theme with options such as-Elite Yellow, carbon Grey, Sky Blue and the Old English White (our favorite). The car is basically a combination of the old and the new and so we do find the avant-garde anthracite anodized six spoke alloy wheels cased in Yokohama AD07 LTS tires. The Club Racer features the 134 hp Elise S engine and hence pelts from 0 to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds. It will debut on September 15 at the Frankfurt Motor Show and will be available for Sale right away.
