The Coupe is likely to be inspired by the concept of the futuristic Lexus GS that was recently revealed. We guess that Toyota will make a larger Coupe this time around.

The carmaker is expected to release the vehicle with a plug-in hybrid technology, a lithium-ion battery and a manual transmission features.  Stay tuned for more.

Snapped during a rehearsal event at one of the Merc garages in Circuit Paul Ricard, the pictures reveal stubborn looks and specs compared to the former generation CLK 63 AMG Black Series.

The car has been ramped up to suit daily street use. The maker has also cut down 20 kg (44 lbs) from the car’s curb mass.

Going by the earlier reports, the Black Series Coupe with its 6.2-liter V8 produces 517 PS (380 kW / 510 bhp) that is 30 PS (22 kW / 30 bhp) extra than the C63 AMG with the performance package.

Shifting will be using the seven-speed ‘Speedshift’ MCT automatic with a narrow slip differential. The torque produced is 640 Nm (472 lb-ft).The coupe can race from 0 to 100 km/h in just about 4 seconds.

The C63 AMG Black Series Coupe will  not be a limited edition car, and will come with a price range of around €100,000 inGermany.

The model, which would be based on the upcoming front – wheel drive UKL1 platform, also features an all-wheel drive to fix the handling tradeoffs.

BMW Z2 is expected to be powered by a variety of 2.0-liter engines that have outputs ranging from 170 PS (100 kW / 168 hp) to 272 PS (200 kW / 268 hp).
However, it may also be delayed until 2015 or 2016, using the rear-wheel drive platform from the 2-Series (the renamed coupe and convertible variants of the 2012 1-Series).

Though no official announcement has come, the Z2 is likely to be offered as a coupe and convertible.

The car’s roof doesn’t take much of trunk space despite the car offering a cargo capacity of 6.1 cubic feet (173 liters) regardless of the top’s positioning.

The vehicle is powered by 6.3-liter (6,208cc) V8 engine that produces 563 hp (420 kW / 571 PS) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque. This will be linked to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that can work up the car’s acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. The vehicle can hit a limited top speed of 197 mph (317 km/h) – akin to the earlier gullwing model.

The engineers at Mercedes have done some remarkable work to strengthen the chassis of this open top car. The SLS AMG Roadster will weigh 3,661 pounds (1,661 kg) which is just 88 lbs (40 kg) heavier than the coupe.

The earlier gullwing model had created much interest among the fans and the convertible version is predicted to be even more popular. Pricing details are yet under wraps, though we expect the car to be released this Fall.

The model would be based on the A8 and built alongside the R8 at the factory of the manufacturer, located in Neckarsulm, Germany. We also get reports regarding the plans of launching a convertible variant, an A9 cabriolet by the year 2015.

But what is to be noticed here is that all these about info are not officially confirmed. Speculations are also pouring ion regarding the engine options. These could include everything from a 211 PS (155 kW / 208 hp) 3.0-liter V6 to a 520 PS (382 kW / 513 hp) 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 in the S9.

Powered by several direct-drive electric motors with 120 hp (90 kW) and weighing just 23 kg (51 lbs) each, it produces more than  600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. The lightweight construction enables the Delta E-4 Coupe a range of up to 200 miles (322 km). Besides, it can hit up to 60 mph (96 km/h) within 5 seconds.

In case you didn’t know,  Simon Dowson and Nick Carpenter founded Delta Motorsport in 2005 and based it right near the very same Silverstone Circuit.

The prototype that has been revealed has its rear trunk area covered where the roof is stored. Perhaps, these covered parts are the only panels, which make it different from the standard MINI and the Roadster’s Coupe sibling. However, it is the least camouflaged snap we have got so far.

The low silhouette and narrow C-pillar in classic three-box design exudes contemporary styling. Short front overhang, long hood, steeply raked windshield and long, sloping roof all are typical of a coupe.

While the wedge-shaped, sloping beltline is inherited from the C-Class sedan, its ascending merge into the C-pillar is entirely exclusive. This part of the beltline trim meets the roofline trim and not only adds an aggressive touch to the side windows but also enhances the powerful shoulders. The radiator grille has chrome double-Louvre style with the star in the middle.

There are clear lens headlamps and daytime running LED’s at the front. In the rear the tail lights are placed at maximum distance apart to show width and centrally mounted LED indicator signifies depth.

The interior of the car features three tube rings in metallic finish, flat bottomed three spoke steering wheel with shift paddles and a 5.8 inch center console. The car is a proper four seater, with backrests in the rear reclining for extra storage.

Features include Bluetooth streaming, SIRIUS weather forecast, special Google destination search. The optional COMAND navigation system also has a new 3D display with city views.

The engine options for the C-class coupe are a 1.8 L four-cylinder engine developing 201 hp, 229 lb-ft of torque @ 4300 rpm with 0-60 mph coming in 7.1 s and a top speed of 130 mph, and a 3.5 L V6 engine producing 302 hp, 273 lb-ft @ 5250 rpm, 0-60 mph in 5.9 s and 130 mph top speed.

Both these engines are said to return a combined fuel economy of 24 and 22 mpg. Both these power plants get a seven speed automatic transmission.

The video that was released gives an extremely short glimpse of the full body of the coupe, and BMW is continuing with the ‘top secret’ policy that they have sustained so far.

An earlier statement from the company had stated that the 1-Series M will weigh approximately 1500 kg (3,307 lbs) and that the chassis, braking system and rear differential used on the vehicle would be similar to the M3.

The car will have a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine powering it, with 340 bhp (254 kW / 345 PS).

This will be connected exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission, which will enable it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than five seconds.

The car will be shown to the world at the North American International Auto Show. A full media report is expected to be released soon.
