Endora Motors has unveiled the brand new Endora SC-1. It reminds us of an Americanized Koenigsegg, though it is actually based on the Chevrolet Corvette. The new variant features an aerodynamic body kit coupled with a prominent front spoiler and HID headlights.

The first details of the 2011 HPE700 Camaro Convertible from the Hennessey Performance stables are out. As has been the case with the company’s earlier HPE700 coupe model, the upcoming the convertible will come with a CarbonAero body kit that would comprise a front splitter, a rear diffuser and revised side skirts.

General Motors is said to be lining up the C7 Corvette with a small block V-8. The C7 Corvette is expected to be among the first line of GM cars to come fitted with a V-8. If you guys are wondering as to what is unique about the small block V8, read on.

GM’s small-block V-8s will sport aluminum blocks and heads, direct-injection, and a new combustion system. Further, in a bid to ensure compact dimensions and lower manufacturing costs, GM has maintained a traditional overhead-valve layout for the small block V8.
With General Motors pumping in close to $890 million into this project, it seems like the downsized engine initiative is taken very seriously by the car maker. We hear that the prototypes of he small block V8 engines are now being tested at Detroit, so as to be fitted into the C7 Corvettes ahead of a final test and roll out. The C7 engines are expected to be capable enough to displace 5.5 liters, with a target output of about 440 horsepower. It looks like we are in for good times on the road.
The Corvette Z06 Carbon limited edition model will be a sought collectable and Chevrolet USA believes that the ideal place to begin selling the viper will be the Barrett Jackson special event in Palm Beach, Florida next month. The bidder who takes home the first Z06 carbon will get an exclusive chance to enter GM’s Performance Build Center and watch the first Z06 Carbon rolling out of the production facility.

The Z06 Carbon production will be limited to 500 units and it is being produced to mark 50 years of Corvette at the LeMans Race. The scorcher will feature a carbon fiber raised hood along with other specialties such as magnetic ride control and Brembo braking. The Auction begins April 1.

Specter Werkes is working up its magic on the Vette again and unlike the GTR it came up with last summer, the one that it will showcase SEMA on November 3 will be a deadlier version. The BASF Pearl Blue exterior color and HRE CF40 carbon fiber wheels on the exterior will give it a desirable look on the outside but what matters most is what it gets under the hood — a 7.0L LS7 V8 at the heart with a twin-turbo setup from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering renders a mind-boggling 800 horsepower. To keep all those ponies in safe place, the Vette C6 GTR comes with StopTech brakes at the front and the rear. On top of that a revised exhaust system was also mandatory to accommodate that much power and Specter Werkes have used a Corsa option for assistance in this case. Mind-blowing, eh?

The latest viper to prove its metal in the American Le Mans series next year would be the just revealed Corvette Racing C6.R GT2 which will obviously boost the confidence of the Corvette Racing team as a Single GT Class variant. The loss at this years’ Championship needs an impetus such as the Corvette Racing C6.R GT2 for the credentials are certainly heartening. Also, the non racing drivers would love to know that this car is ready to share a lot with the Street Going Variant and this includes- the aluminum frame, chassis structure, the steering system, the aerodynamic package and the body design. As far as the rest of the season for the Corvette Team is concerned, it will be a 6.0-litre V8 based on the 7.0-litre LS7.R and used in the GT1 version that will be put to use. For the coming season, the Vette Team plans a smaller 5.5-litre V8.
You seldom get the mix of an American performance with the Italian Style and when it does happen, you can expect something worthwhile. The SV 9 Competizione offers that interesting blend and we quite like what we see. The car embraces a unique carbon fiber body which ‘borrows more than a few lines from the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione’.

The designing does not ignore the role of airflow properties that channel air through the hood and rear ducts, thereby increasing brake and engine cooling. Under the hood, there s another revised air-intake and a custom-tuned ANSA exhaust which is modeled after the Ferrari Daytona and 599 GTB. These changes help the Competizione churn 450hp and 445lb-ft of torque. The 0 to 60 mph timing for this scorcher is 4 seconds. A limited edition of only 1,000 units will be produced and each of them would cost $99,995.

“Not bad” is the first thing I could say about the new Corvette ZR1. They called it the American supercar and for a reason because it was supposed to output 620 hp from a hand built LS9 6.2L supercharged V8 engine. Though 620 hp may have been enough, it turned out to be the bad number, because Corvette ZR-1 outputs nothing less than 638 hp (476 kW). This is the most powerful engine that GM ever built.
“The combination of large displacement and the new, four-rotor design broadens the effective range of the supercharger, allowing the engine to make more power at lower rpm and sustain it throughout the power band. The low-end torque is tremendous and the high-rpm charge from the supercharger is simply amazing.” said Sam Winegarden, GM Powertrain Chief Engineer.
