With ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ due to release on July 1st, Chevrolet has announced its plans to offer a limited edition Camaro.

The new soft top that has been incorporated into the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible has been tested in tough moist conditions. Apart from the standard test, engineers made the car undergo many extensive tests during development to assure its long-term durability.

A teaser video just out has revealed the all new next-generation Chevrolet Malibu. A camouflaged Malibu is shown sitting idly as spy photographer Jim Dunne briefs the tactics of his trade. Apparently, Chevrolet hasn’t shown any worries over the spy photographer and is sure that their new model will make quite a few numbers of heads turn.

The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro will come sporting many updates in time for the summer season. The most significant change would be that the vehicle will incorporate a new 3.6-liter V6 engine – to be called the LFX. It produces 323 hp (241 kW / 327 PS), and that accounts for 11 hp (8 kW / 11 PS) more than the previous engine of the vehicle. It also offers fuel economy rating of 30 mpg.

The next-generation Chevy Malibu has been keeping us in anticipation for quite some time now, right? As if answering our prayers for a speedier arrival of the model, GM is giving an accelerated thought to the plan. We hear the car maker has put the production of the model on fast track.
