New pictures of Buick’s 2011 GL8 minivan have recently bee released. Clearly, the Business Concept that we saw at Auto Shanghai 2009 has been a strong inspiration for the minivan. Sources say that the minivan will be revealed to the world on November 28, 2010.

Buick’s answer to the Audi A4 has just been unveiled. Ahead of its official launch, which is set to take place next year, the 2012 Regal GS bears a visual similarity to the Insignia OPC/VXR.

The 2012 Buick Verano will be built at Michigan’s Lake Orion, says General Motors. There are not too many details about the vehicle, just a confirmation about the location it would be built at. It has been understood from earlier reports that the vehicle is based on the Chevrolet Cruze, with style inputs from a GM vehicle that is out in China – Excelle GT.

Spy photographers finally headed elsewhere to catch a glimpse of the models ready to invade the Asian markets and they managed to capture the 2011 Buick Excelle compact sedan. The commuter based on the highly successful Opel Astra Platform was caught undisguised in China.

From what we see it features a waterfall grille, distinctive headlights, hood-mounted porthole vents, and controversial taillights. On the inside the 2011 Buick Excelle appears discreetly similar to the Astra minus the badge on the steering wheel. The Chinese model of this automobile shall be showcased at the Beijing auto show while the US aspirers of the Buick Excelle will have to wait a little longer. It is noteworthy that Buick has already released a hatchback version of this car — Excelle XT hatchback in China only and that variant looks utterly different that this sedan.
Those looking for a smaller Buick baby in the States may have a surprise up their sleeve with a smaller Buick Sedan spotted by photo-ninjas. The snapped commuter is currently headed to China where GM wants to thrive furthermore on the success of the Buick moniker.

The Buick Sedan will be placed under the Lacrosse model of the Buick range. As far as the architecture goes the current model will be based on the Delta II structure from the GM territory. The front wheel driven car will share the platform with Chevrolet Cruz that replaces the cobalt. The engine has not been confirmed but the options include a 1.8 liter petrol engine which will produce 141hp with 176Nm of torque.
Another speculation is that the Chevy Cruze 1.6L 113hp churning engine might alos find a place under the hood. It will arrive in China in 2012 and the americans will have to wait a tad longer.

The Buick Invicta Concept a midsize premium sedan, debuted a few days ago at the Beijing Auto Show. Inspired from Buick Riviera the four-door is going to be produced for the US and the Chinese markets, but rumors say that it may “visit” other continents if sales figures decides it.
The high belt line and the big 20-inch polished aluminum wheels makes the Buick Invicta seem like a beautiful tank with cat-eye headlamps.
Now comes the interesting part. The engine. It’s powered by a first direct injection turbocharged engine that develops 250 hp from those four-cylinders and 220 lb-ft (298 Nm) of torque. All these are possible thanks to a 6-speed automatic gearbox that promises fuel efficiency.
