Buick’s answer to the Audi A4 has just been unveiled. Ahead of its official launch, which is set to take place next year, the 2012 Regal GS bears a visual similarity to the Insignia OPC/VXR.

GM is likely to launch an entry-level Cadillac by the end of 2012 or in the early quarter of 2013. The car may be called Cadillac ATS when it is launched and GM has plans to invest over $190 million in their Lansing Grand River assembly plant for the production of the proposed model.

Geneva is going to be BIG this year. Another car that is expected to rock the floor at the International Auto Show in March, is the new Audi A4 allroad quattro. Sporting a unique grille, a restyled rear bumper and roof rails, the aggresive wagon runs on three engine options – 211 hp 2.0-liter TFSI, 170hp 2.0-liter TDI or 240hp 3.0-liter TDI, all mated to a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Germans really managed to outdone themselves this time, and we definitely think the 2010 Audi A4 Allroad Quattro will soon follow the success of its older brother, the A6. Looks like a great ride, don’t you think? [via Autoblog]

Set to launch later this year, the 2009 A4 Allroad Avant got spied while “training” in the mountains. The first Audi A4 to get LED rear lights treatment, it has many of the features from its older brother – the A6 Allroad, but also features a black plastic exterior trim, wider fenders, unique front and a stylish rear bumper.

Of course it has the increased ride height and Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system, giving it more muscles for bad weather conditions. We don’t have a price for it yet, but that sure looks like a top seller from our point of view. Don’t you think? [via WCF]

Now that you know how the new Audi A4 is going to look, what would you say if there is already a tuning company to come up with a solution for it? I’m talking about Rieger, a German tuner and one of the first companies to try and make a new Audi A4 3.0 TDI “better”.

Rieger managed to do both mechanical upgrades and a body kit that includes a redesigned rear bumper with integrated air diffuser, a front lip spoiler and side skirts. Along with the looks comes some 20-inch alloy wheels. Under the hood, thanks to some ECU tweaks the Audi A4 3.0 TDI is able to output 300 hp (up from 241 hp), so if you need both power, beauty and you love Audi see what Rieger has to offer.

Audi released today the official info about the new 2009 Audi A4 Avant, just a few weeks before the debut in Geneva. Yes folks, we’re going to see it live next month in at the International Motor Show. It looks almost the same as the A4 sedan, but this one adds a 50-cubic feet cargo capacity in the back and is overall 5-inches longer.
From what I’ve heard so far it’s going to use a 2.0 liter TFSI engine, has an optional power liftgate and a reversible load floor. More info will be available in Geneva.
