A three-door prototype of the Audi A3 2012 model has been spotted by spy cams on route 40, between San Rafel and El Sosneado in Argentina. The new A3 concept, a sedan, was revealed earlier at the Geneva Motor Show.

Following the release of the A5 facelifted edition, Audi appears to have brought the A4 in for an alteration. The car was caught on spycam and has been captured in heavy camouflage. From what we can see, the vehicle comes with an advanced grille, adapted bumpers and remodeled lighting units.

Audi has announced its new plans with regard to the United States market place. The auto maker giant plans to launch diesel models of A6, A8, and Q5. As you already know, TDI engine variants of A3 and Q7 are now available. The new move will add on to this line up. However, the company has no plans to offer a diesel version of A4. But the redesigned model of the same is released in the year 2014 or 2015.

Audi released today the official info about the new 2009 Audi A4 Avant, just a few weeks before the debut in Geneva. Yes folks, we’re going to see it live next month in at the International Motor Show. It looks almost the same as the A4 sedan, but this one adds a 50-cubic feet cargo capacity in the back and is overall 5-inches longer.
From what I’ve heard so far it’s going to use a 2.0 liter TFSI engine, has an optional power liftgate and a reversible load floor. More info will be available in Geneva.

Official images of the new Audi A4 are here. The design of te B8 model of the mid-premium saloon from Ingolstadt seems to be a very moderate evolution of the previous model. Maybe too conservative.
The proportions seem to be a little more aggressive, maybe thanks to the shorter overhangs, the longer hood and the longer wheelbase. The hood has a little more of a slope and finishes in slightly less imposing single-frame grille. The headlights have pretty showy LED daylights.
Fortunately, underneath the body the changes are much more interesting. The MLB modular system made it possible to move the engine 154 mm backwards, for a better weight distribution.

The suspensions are completely new, made mostly in alloy. Also new is the drive select system, that changes the response of the engine, the gearbox, the steering and the supsensions according to the drivers’ preferences. Dynamic steering assistance and damper response are also available. (more…)
