The time has come to crown the best efforts, designs and performance in the auto industry. While 2013/2014 has seen many a great car see light, there can always only be one winner.
The World Car of the Year awards have just released their top finalists in each category.
Categories include the Performance Car of the Year, the Green Car of the Year, the Luxury Car of the Year, the Design Car of the Year and, of course, the over winner – The World Car of the Year.
There are three finalists in each category, and let us tell you, it looks to be a super tough decision as to who will eventually have the title.

The man is back, and this time around Chris Harris compares two equally lovely yet totally different cars.
Chris Harris takes on the Alfa 4C along with the popular Porsche Cayman. He takes these two beauties for a ride around the UK, bumpy roads and all.

We already know that Lamborghini make some seriously sexy cars. Thus, with the unveiling of their latest baby, the Lamborghini Huracan, the Italian car maker has kept the sexiness firmly in place.
Unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show for the first time yesterday, the Huracan (obviously) stole the spotlight from any other car trying to show off at the show. And when you see what it looks like, it’s not surprising in the least.
Lamborghini aims to push the Huracan into the Gallardo’s market. The Gallardo, which is the company’s top selling model, could very well be replaced by the Huracan in terms of sales. (more…)
The Audi TT has firmly cemented itself as somewhat of an iconic car. The sleek, modern and clever design that got people talking when it was first released back in 1998, is getting a slight update.
The Mk II TT is Audi’s new TT. And just to give us a little taste before it’s official debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March, Audi has released a few sketches – that right, not photos or videos, but sketches – of the updated TT. (more…)
After 5 long years, Rolls Royce has finally decided to update the very classy, very luxurious and very expensive Ghost; to be revealed at this year’s Geneva Auto Show.
The current Ghost is almost perfect. But who wouldn’t say yes to a few improvements here and there.
While we have been waiting in anticipation for a while now for any news or photos of the updated Ghost, today Rolls Royce finally decided to give their fans a taste of whats to come at Geneva. The first official photo of the ghost has been released, and while it’s not much, it’s enough to get us really excited for its Geneva debut. (more…)
Well this is some really exciting news on a Tuesday afternoon!
While we love ourselves a bit of super car, we really like it when these super cars push it to there limits – and if a land speed record gets broken in the process, all the better.
The Hennessey Venom GT has broken the land speed record (only just) at an incredible 270,4 mph. To put that into perspective; the Venom topped an amazing 435,16 km/h. Now that’s one fast car. (more…)
