We all know the feeling: driving on a highway, at 120km/h+, when suddenly, you find yourself stuck behind a slow moving truck.
You sigh, take a deep breath, and then gently swerve to the right to try and see if the road is clear for you to pass the damned truck. Whilst mostly this works, and you can time your pass efficiently, it is nevertheless quotes dangerous.
How cool would it be of you could just see through the truck or bus in front of you and then make youor quick exit? Well, if thi snew gadget is anything to go by- you CAN! (more…)
Anniversary’s usually call for some sort of celebration, and the 30 year mark calls for a rather big celebration.
Now, considering that it is the world’s most famous supercar’s anniversary in (over the top) China, you can kind of imagine what their celebration will be like.
If you thought momentous, extravagant and very OTT – then yes, you are correct. (more…)

If you are a car lover, especially a Formula One lover, you have to go and see this film.
Rush is a film about the infamous 1976 Formula One season. It chronicles the rivalry between legendary Formula One drivers, James Hunt and Niki Lauda.
This biographical film is different than most in it’s genre. It’s deep and beautifully written while still being action packed (obviously, a it’s a racing film). It has been praised by critics and is already receiving some heavy Oscar buzz.
Rush stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor) as James Hunt and Daniel Bruhl as Niki Lauda.
Written by Peter Morgan and directed by Ron Howard – Rush is a definite must for everyone, even the ladies!
It was released in September, so check your local cinema for listings. Believe me, you don’t want to miss this one!

Calling all Anchorman fans! This is one for you – and we can almost guarantee that it will have you up in stitches!
In a (very) clever advertising campaign, Dodge has enlisted the services of world famous, San Diego anchorman, Ron Burgundy to help promote their new, 2014 Dodge Durango.
Of course, Ron Burgundy is not a real person (although we wish he was) and rather a character made famous by one of comedy’s leading funny-men, Will Ferrel. (more…)
This is the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. And it is absolutely gorgeous.
Not only does this supercar delight your eyes, it is so powerful that it will send shockwaves through your whole body. The Sesto Elemento is called that because, translated, Sesto Elemento literally means ‘Sixth Element’.
And, of course, if you take a look at the periodic table of elements, the sixth element on the table is carbon. NOw, it should all come together; the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is made of carbon fibre. Clever thinking, Lamborghini! (more…)
Remember that skateboarder who set off the speed cameras down Kloofneck? Bring Back Choirboy (yeah weird name), went and got hold of Decio Lourenco, and tasked him to skate down a Cape Town pass with a brand new Mercedes A45 AMG.
Here is the description:
“Inspired by seeing local skaterboarder Decio Lourenco blasting down the steep and gnarly Kloofneck road in Cape Town South Africa, I thought to myself… Let’s see this guy race a car, but not just any car, a car that sends shivers down your spine as the rev needle hits its peak.
So with some hunting and a bit of begging, we were lucky to get our hands on the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG edition one.
So off to the Franschoek hills we went, shooting wild, fighting weather systems, bombing hills, young film makers dreams and nightmares happening simultaneously.
And here we have it, a film i’m proud to say that was pulled off with all the odds against us, who needs big budgets, who needs gravity, the clouds broke and gave us the perfect storm of man vs machine.
Speed, Control and Elegance
Big Ups to all that made this film happen:
Bring Back Choirboy, Priest, Mercedes-Benz, Darkwing Aerials, Media Film Services, Helloiamrory, Zootee, Ensemble Post, Moby for the track and the whole crew that we couldn’t of done this shoot without.
Hope you enjoyed watching this as much as we did making it…
There will be more!
The Bring Back Choirboy Team”
