RKC Toyota Camry NASCAR Edition at SEMA

The Camry NASCAR Edition will be seen at SEMA this month. The RK Collection NASCAR Edition of the Camry is a two-door, street legal vehicle. The engine is a 358 cubic inch (5.9 liter) TRD NASCAR V8 power plant, which gives 680 bhp (507 kW), and is linked to a 6-speed manual transmission. It also features a custom sport exhaust that has 3-inch X-pipes.

2012 Mercedes SLK to Boast of Magic Sky Control Roof that Blocks UV & Infrared Rays

Mercedes has come out with a new Magic Sky Control roof that is incorporated with the 2012 SLK. The company has tested the vehicle with their new addition that promises to keep cabin components (shifter, armrest, etc) up to 10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit) cooler than a standard sunroof.

Porsche Panamera Tuned by TECHART; Called GrandGT

After an extensive tuning job at the hands of the German tuner TECHART, the Porsche Panamera is now out as a version they are calling the GrandGT. Reports say that the newly tuned version will be seen in Switzerland next month at the Zurich Auto Show.

Chevrolet Aveo-based Crossover in the Works; Roll Out Likely in 2012

Chrysler Pentastar V6 Features in the New 2011 Challenger

A statement from Dodge confirms that the company’s 2011 Challenger will definitely be running on the new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 305 hp (227 kW / 309 PS) and 268 lb-ft (363 Nm) of torque.

RSC Raptor GT from Rotary Super Cars

The RSC Raptor GT – a supercar with a bit of a difference has been created by Specialty marque Rotary Supers Cars of Germany. Comprising mostly of fiberglass and carbon fiber, the car features a technology called Variable Aerodynamic System adapts the aerodynamic properties of the car to create more downforce at high speeds.

Spartan V is a Lightweight All-Star Car With a Ducati Heart

A tribute from the car world to the ancient Greeks has just started making the rounds. The Spartan V is a lightweight all-star, with an engine that is borrowed from Ducati. The new contender weighs  at just below 661 pounds and packs 170 horsepower from the 1200 cc Italian mill.

McLaren Mulls Over Rolling Out Five New Cars in Five Years

British automaker McLaren has announced their plans to come out with one new model every year for the coming five years (this could also be a new version of an existing model). The company is aiming at a total production volume of 4,500 units.
