
Mercedes-Benz tuning specialists Carlsson have joined forces with international leather-lifestyle brand Etienne Aigner to develop the Carlsson Aigner CK65 Eau Rouge model. Made in an exclusive small series, the luxury coupe based on the Mercedes-Benz CL produces over 700 bhp (522 kw) and 1,100 Nm after being reworked by Carlsson.

The engine conversion by Carlsson includes a special electronic control unit with special maps for injection and ignition. On the intake side, sports air filters ensure optimum aspiration. On the outlet side, a stainless-steel sports exhaust system with high-performance metal catalytic converters and sports silencers cut back-pressure to a minimum. Another measure to boost engine performance is improved intercooling, which reduces charge-air temperature. In our first installment of Car Blog’s “Car of the week“ we feature one heck of a supped up BMW 3-Series Coupe. The GP3.10 is equipped with a modified version of the BMW M5/M6’s 5.0-liter V10 engine that can on LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) or regular gasoline producing 552 HP (+45 than the M5/M6) and up to 540 Nm of maximum torque. The modded 3-series sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.5 sec and to 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 13.9 sec.
