
This is a spy shot of the new Volvo V30, in full camouflage, that is said to slot in between the C30 hatch and V50 estate and is rumoured to rival VW’s Golf. The new model, unofficially named the V30, will offer the flexibilty of five doors, as demanded by most customers, and a full tailgate. The new model is set to launch in mid to late 2012.
Nissan first revealed the wacky-looking Pivo EV Concept at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show before redesigning it as the Pivo 2 in 2007. Now, Nissan has replaced the electric car’s original curves and bubble shape for a sharper look with artistic angles to better suit its city functionality with the Pivo 3. The new ultra-compact city vehicle targeting singles and couples living in an urban lifestyle, measures just 3m in length and seats just three occupants.

Ford is updating its 2013 Flex model with a new nose design, updated power and improved technology. The three-row, seven-passenger model features a restyled front fascia with a nose that is sleeker, sophisticated and more robotic. Apart from the addition of paint colour and wheel choices, no other design elements have been modified.
Flex receives a powertrain update with a base 3.5-litre V6 that now packs 20 more horsepower – 285 versus 265. Customers will still have the option of fitting the Flex with Ford’s 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6, which carries over unchanged.
Volkswagen has recently revealed its new Passat CC that has been given a facelift and simply renamed the VW CC that will make its debut at the 2011 Motor Show in L.A. this month.
The new model has subtle tweaks including reshaped stainless steel side sills and a new rear bumper. Bi-xenon headlights, static cornering lights and a new LED rear headlight system come as standard. Other interesting features include safety head restraints and fatigue detection. Changes to the interior are expected to be minor.

Here is one of the first pictures of the new Peugeot 208, a compact mini, that will be replacing the 207 in 2012.
Initially, the new model will be sold as a three- or five-door car but there are expectations that a convertible variation could follow in time. The 208 is lighter than the 207 it replaces by 110 kgs while being more aerodynamic and compact. The aim of the 208 is increased efficiency and agility.
On the outside, while still mainting its signature Peugeot style, the 208 has a distinctive character line to its flanks, floating grille, and ‘boomerang’ shaped rear lights. Other features include a touch screen system for sat navigation, stereo and communication as well as 3G and downloadable apps.
Engine choices come from a pair of three-cylinder petrol engines producing 68bhp and 84bhp, or two diesel units that both emit less than 99g/km of CO2.

Mini has introduced its new Roadster for 2012 that is the sixth edition to the Mini range. The new Roadster, based on the Coupe, has a manual soft top and is the very first production two-seat open-top Mini in history.
The vehicle will be manufactured in the UK ‘s Plant Oxford with sales beginning in 2012 with a price tag of £18,015 for a Cooper Roadster and £24,850 for the John Cooper Works Roadster. In between these two offerings are the Cooper SD and Cooper S and power ranges from 120bhp in the Cooper to 208bhp in the John Cooper Works.
The Audi A4 series has been updated with the new A4 Sedan, A4 Avant, A4 Allroad Quattro and S4 for 2013. Audi’s A4 has been the German auto manufacturer’s best seller for 39 years and is in its eighth generation. The A4 has been updated with reused sheet metal and powertrains to keep it at the forefront of the entry level luxury car arena.
In terms of styling, the new A4 has a more angular nose with the replacement of the bonnet and front bumper as well as the lights and grille. The bonnet has a stronger curvaure with the lights at the front and rear having been modified with a slight wave and styalized LED elements.
The interior has been refined with new steering wheels with high gloss and chrome inlays and a simplified MMI infotainment system. High-gloss applications and the slender chrome trim at the controls add a sophistication to the design.
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the very first James Bond movie, with Sean Connery in the leading role, the iconic cars that accompanied the British spy will go on display at the UK National Motor Museum. The ‘Bond in Motion’ display featuring some of the his most memorable vehicles is expected to be one of the must-see automotive attractions of 2012.
The show, which promises to be one of the largest of its kind in the world, will feature not just Bond’s famous cars but also his boats, motorbikes as well as the Bede Acrostar jet from Octopussy and the sledging cello case from The Living Daylights.
Some of the vehicles that have been confirmed include: The 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger, 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 from The Spy Who Loved Me, 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III from Goldfinger and the 2002 Jaguar XKR with SFX weapons from Die Another Day.
50 vehicles in total will be on display for a year from the 18th January 2012.
