Before jumping into details, have a look at the design of the 2012 Fiat Panda revealed in a recent patent filing.

The next-generation model is likely to adopt an aerodynamic appearance with a rounded hood, a wider grille and sweptback headlights. A prominent air intake, a disproportionate rear quarter window and a sloping roofline is also expected. The engine options could be inspired form the 500.
The Panda range was mildly rearranged in 2009, with the addition of Active Eco and Dynamic Eco models. These models feature revised 1.1 and 1.2 petrol engines respectively, with better fuel economy and CO2 emissions. Both models also qualify for £35 annual car tax in the UK, and replace the original standard engines. Dynamic Aircon and SkyDome models were also dropped in favour of simplifying the Panda range.
The new Panda will be launched next year. So, stay tuned.
