New spy photos of the 2012 Mercedes ML 63 AMG have emerged. The prototype was undergoing testing near the Nürburgring and was spotted with far less camouflage than ever before. A sleeker front bumper was revealed, as were sweptback headlights, a tailgate-mounted spoiler, and AMG wheels. This model too has a dual exhaust but it is still not known whether Mercedes will drop AMG’s traditional four-pipe setup.
Following a few photos that emerged some weeks ago of two Lamborghini Jota prototypes, some new photos have emerged of what seems to be the Lamborghini Jota Superleggera prototype. After the first set of photos came out there was much speculation that one of the prototypes was a Superleggera.
The Nürburgring circuit in Germany was the venue for some hard testing of the upcoming 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. At the occasion, some spy shots were taken and the rest of the world gets to have a glimpse of what the prototype is likely to look like.
The 2011 5XR from Roush has been unveiled. The car looks like it has been made based on the Ford Mustang GT, and has an out and out aggressive body – front fascia is new, side skirts have been modified and so has the rear valance. There is also a three piece spoiler on this vehicle – which will be available as a convertible as well as a coupe.
The first pictures of Dodge’s redesigned 2011 Charger have been revealed to the public. The car, which is to be available later this year, has a front bumper that is noticeably aggressive, a huge grille, extremely distinctive taillights and a debonair roof. The tail lights glow with 164 LED bulbs, bringing to mind the 1969 Charger.
The RSC Raptor GT – a supercar with a bit of a difference has been created by Specialty marque Rotary Supers Cars of Germany. Comprising mostly of fiberglass and carbon fiber, the car features a technology called Variable Aerodynamic System adapts the aerodynamic properties of the car to create more downforce at high speeds.
The 2011 V60 from Volvo was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The car is based on the S60, and has eye-catching features include a style that is sporty, plush cabin interiors that is complete with a five-inch infotainment display and urbane wood trim. The vehicle has a spacious boot, which can hold 430 liters (15.2 cubic feet) of luggage.
At the recent Audi Forum held in Germany, sources from the car company had revealed their plans for the high performance division’s future. The best news was for North America, which is to have even more performance-oriented RS models, due to the euro-dollar exchange rates improving; and also due to the rising similarity in the emissions regulations.
