Some official sketches have been released of the concept, which s all set to feature strongly as part of Smart’s offerings at the Paris Motor Show spread. The concept banks on a strong possibility of going into production.
The scooter is being evaluated to be integrated into Smart’s line-up that is being broadened, as its parent company Mercedes-Benz is looking to evolve from the manufacturer of cars to also being a provider of a variety of mobility solutions – high on which is the two-wheeler.
Though there are no official technical details out just yet, insider information is that the Smart scooter runs on a lithium-ion battery and can take a passenger up to 60 miles at a go on a single charge.
