For those of you who have a Porsce 911 Turbo in their garage (lucky bastards), the guys from TechArt have come up with an engine performance kit that promises to take your monster to new heights. Available in two versions, the fir package (TA 097/T1) adds a revised ECU and a high-flow air filter that helps the 3.8-liter engine output 370hp (up by 70hp) and allows it to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.2seconds on its way to a max speed of 324km/h. Then there’s the second package (TA 097/T2) that includes a sport air filter, new manifolds, a custom exhaust, and a reprogrammed ECU. All these for an 120hp upgrade to a total of 620hp, that allows it to reach 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds and to reach a max speed of 333km/h. Not bad .. eh ?

Not sure about you chaps, but for me Suzuki is by no means associated in my brain with turbo engines and extreme power. Well, that’s about to change as I just saw the 2010 Suzuki Concept Kizashi Turbo — a car that made its public debut on April 30th on the Speed Channel’s Test Drive program. It was nicely painted in red, and I learned that under the hood now there’s a tuner supplied 16G turbocharger added to the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine (originally doing 185bhp) that brings 100 more horsies to the powerplant, for a good 290bhp. What else can you wish for? Apparently a high-flow intercooler, an extreme spray injector, a blow-off valve and a velocity air intake to polish this diamond. I just can’t take my eyes off of it …

Those wondering when the Volkswagen Polo R will be launched, we have the scoop — sometime in 2010. Adding to the whole R-series that include the Golf R and the Scirocco R models, the new VW Polo R will have a 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol/gasoline engine that sports some 210 bhp, but unlike the Golf … there’s no sign of an AWD system since it will be built on the current PQ25 platform which doesn’t allow it. No word of an exact release date or prices, but it should be north of what the new Polo GTI will sell for when it will be available in Europe this summer — some £18,000/€20,000. Worth it folks?

For those who think the Porsche 911 GT2 is not badass enough, we have news for you, the RS version just made an early appearance at a dealer event. Guilty for grabbing a few pictures with the 911 GT2 RS are the folks from Autoblog and TeamScoop, who mentioned the fact that, indeed, the new model will be a true racer that brags to sweep away even the best track times. Word is that the Porsche 911 GT2 RS will feature a roll cage for more protection, an active suspension and adjustable aerodynamics. The most interesting part is that under the hood there’s a little monster that churns 550 hp (or 620hp according to TeamSpeed), that helps the four-wheeler go naught to 100km/h in a mere 3.2 seconds. Price wise, we’re looking at a highly expensive vehicle — it will cost some $320,000 and only 300 units will ever be built. [via TeamSpeed]

For those who love the current Polo, but want their ride to be a bit larger, we’re hearing that 2012 Volkswagen Polo sedan (also known as the new VW Vento) is in the works — and we managed to get our hands on a design sketch for you. Basically a Polo with a trunk instead of a hatch, the Volkswagen Polo sedan has a 50mm longer wheelbase, and as expected, much more legroom in the rear seat. While yet to be confirmed, word is that the Polo sedan will run on a 1.2-liter TSI, a 1.6-liter TDI, and naturally-aspirated 1.2- and 1.4-liter units. The nice surprise is that other than the five and six-speed manual transmission, there’s also a seven speed DSG to play with. Availability in India is set for sometime in July.
