At the Autosport International Show in Birmingham, the chaps from Porsche have announced their latest race car. Based on former 911 models, the new Porsche 911 GT3 R adds certain goodies to make the amateur racer like you and me, to feel like a pro. And we’re talking about traction control, ABS, electronic throttle or the upgraded to 4.0-litre that sports nothing less of 480bhp. Some other features include additional wheel arches at the front and rear, LED rear lights, a rear diffuser and a more adjustable rear wing. The company claims that the Porsche 911 GT3 R is set to debut in 2010, but it has (already) nearly sold out.
