Rich enough to own one of those amazing Rolls-Royce Ghost? Well, listen up, as the German tuners from Deutsche Manufaktur have put their “Numero Uno” version of the car, on sale on JamesList.com for €450,000. Meant for “customers who want something a little more exclusive from an automobile that spells passion even in its original state”, their Rolls-Royce Ghost ‘Numero Uno’ look a bit unusual (appealing unusual that is) thanks to its new front and rear spoilers, a new grille and the new headlight shades. More to it, the little beast comes with adjustable-tint glass (darkened windows at the push of a button), 20-inch forged and polished wheels and a few other interior changes. Not bad for the filthy rich, eh?

Plus, this Audi’s quiet, clean diesel engine delivers loads of low-end torque and a fun-to-drive experience, all with the functionality of a 5-passenger hatchback,” says Ron Cogan.

In the US, the Audi A3 TDI is sold with a 2-liter engine, has an S-tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission and costs $29,950.
The award was given by a six member jury that include International Council on Clean Transportation president Dr. Alan Lloyd, Global Green USA president Matt Peterson, and Sierra Club excutive director Carl Pope. Also on the panel is automotive enthusiast and talk show host Jay Leno, car designer Carroll Shelby, and Jean-Michel Cousteau, the founder of the Ocean Futures Society and son of oceanic explorer Jacques Cousteau.
The 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder California has juts been unveiled in Los Angeles a few days ago and we already got our hands on a video that has caused some serious drooling for us. How about you take a look what this little monster can do. Definitely a charmer, isn’t it?

Straight from the halls of the Los Angeles Motor Show, German car maker Volkswagen has announced that their new Up! Lite concept vehicle is actually the world’s most fuel-efficient car. Running on a mix between 2-cylinder 0.8-litre TDI engine that outputs 51hp and a electric motor working drawing its energy from a lithium-ion battery, putting out 14 hp more, the new Volkswagen Up! Lite Concept is capable of doing 100km with only 2.44 liters of fuel. But on top of being green, the Up! Lite vehicle also manages to achieve a max speed of 160km/h and goes naught to 100km/h in only 12.5 seconds — the lightweight aluminum, carbon fiber and steel body, helps it out, too. On the exterior the concept car gets the eye with its 18″ wheels and LED daytime running lights, while on the inside there’s a 5.7-inch touch screen, an MP3 player, Internet connection and a telephone. What else you want?
Participants at this year’s Los Angeles Motor Show, the folks from Toyota have taken time to introduce their all-new, third-generation Sienna minivan model. Coming with an improved interior, which although has seats for 8 people exudes lavishness from every little corner, the 2011 Toyota Sienna also appeals with its worked out exterior. Performance wise the new Toyota Sienna runs either on the 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that outputs 187 hp or the 3.5-liter V6 that makes 266 hp, both mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, which help the stylish van to achieve a 18 mpg city/24 mpg highway for the V6 or 19 mpg city/26 mpg highway for the other model.

“The all-new Sienna is an example of Toyota’s commitment to lead the marketplace as it anticipates consumers’ needs and changes in lifestyle,” said Bob Carter, Toyota’s US vice president and general manager. And that’s about right if we’re to consider that there’s cruise control, AC, electric windows, a four-speaker CD stereo system, power door locks, anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution vehicle stability control (VSC), and traction control. Of course there’s also a Sienna XLE version that brings leather upholstery, a moonroof, keyless entry, and heated front seats for richer customers.
The 2011 Toyota Sienna is expected in dealerships next year in February!
For those out of the know, early this year Mitsubishi made have announced that they’re working on a small lightweight crossover utility vehicle that will sit just below the Outlander and would. Things have cleared now and right on schedule, the Japanese car maker came out with a bunch of photos picturing their new Mitsubishi RVR — which by the way is expected to hit the floor either at the NAIAS or in Geneva next year.

While specs are scarce at the moment, the new Mitsubishi RVR Compact Crossover is supposedly running on a brand new 1.8-liter MIVEC petrol engine that promises better fuel efficiency than ever. Fitted with daytime LEDs, rear bumper-integrated center brake lights and a trapizoid-shaped grille in the front, there’s something about this RVR that draws attention. Isn’t it?

It’s official – Porsche will offer the Panamera with a hybrid drivetrain. The company confirmed the at the LA Autoshow.
The vehicle will most likely go on on sale in 2011 and will probably not be offered in 4wd guise. Lots of rumours are floating around regarding which system will be used, but the general consensus is that it will not be using the system we’ve seen on the Cayenne.
If all today’s hybrid announcements are anything to go by Porsche will have a host of electric spares to choose from when it raids the VW group’s electric/ hybrid parts bin.
