The luxury sedan which goes by the name of K7 in Korea, the Kia Cadenza (also called the VG Sedan) has hit the web with its first images and a limited set of details. This sporty and sleek luxury sedan takes inspiration from the KND-5 Concept with external features like an LED headlight surrounds, a bold grille and an upscale design.

However, a lot more work has been done on the interior of the Kia Cadenza where the floating dash is glorified with some avant-garde high-tech adaptations that include a heating steering wheel, automatic defogging of the windshield and ventilated front seats. The engine choices will probably include a 175 hp 2.4-liter Theta four-cylinder and a 273 hp 3.5-liter Lambda V6. These engines will power both the FWD and AWD options. This design upgrade as per the company officials is reflective of the continuing evolution in Kia’s striking design language where the lights and lines are blended.

What we’d like to know right now is the price this jewel will run for.

The Veritas RSIII Roadster manufactured by Vermot AG is a perfect opportunity to relive the auto-fanaticism of the past. The design is surely retro but the use of material and the engine displacement is good enough to get us drooling. The news is that the new Veritas RSIII Roadster has hit the production facility and a limited edition of 30 cars will be manufactured, with deliveries starting 2010. Meanwhile, eight customers have already booked the retro modern scorcher which comes with a 1+1 seating scheme and a hidden rear seat.

The roadster will be powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre BMW V10 engine capable of producing 507hp at 7,750rpm and 520Nm of torque at 6,100rpm. As far as the transmission is concerned, there will be a choice between a 7-speed SMG and the 6-speed manual. No wonder this car can pelt from 0 to 100km/h in less than 3.2 seconds and top it out at 347km/h. Each one of these gems will cost €345,000.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock you definitely know that when released off the production lines, the all new Jaguar XJ will be a scorcher, however, the fact is that an aspirer needs to stack his pockets with an estimated £62,000 to get one of those devils home.

But there’s light at the end of the tunnel as Jaguar has teamed up with the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, and in a charitable effort you can can contribute £125 to the NSPCC (registered as a single entry) and actually win the first Jaguar XJ. Jaguar has had a long term alliance with NSPCC and continuing furthermore on that bonding, Jaguar is keen to raise £1m for the NSPCC’s helplines.

The £125 entry has no limit as the same individual can have as many numbers of entries as desired. Jaguar is supporting NSPCC’s three year Child’s Voice Appeal program to raise £50m for its helplines and hence benefit more and more number of children by reaching out to NSPCC directly. The Jaguar Prize Competition to support the cause runs until 25 November and the winner will be made public on December 1. The only requirement is that the entrants will be required to answer three questions about the upcoming XJ to stand a chance of winning the first production ready Jaguar XJ.

Subaru Impreza

Subaru have done a bit of work on their new range of Impreza’s. Initially there was just a hatch version, but now there is a sedan version available too.

Subaru Impreza WRX

Sadly, the sedan doesn’t come in an STI version, but the WRX with 195kW should keep you busy around the corners. The WRX comes standard with a scoop on the front, while the standard 110kW Impreza looks more like the car you’ll see Grandad driving.

The price is a bit on the steep side too. The WRX comes in at a hefty R360k, but that’s nothing compared to the R520k for the STI hatch. I’d be hard pressed between the STI hatch and a 2 year old M3.

I’d suggest giving them a drive anyway, well worth the fun, which really is what sets the Subaru’s apart. They seem to capture a level of excitement and fun in the diving experience that few cars have manged to really capture properly.

One of the best example of this, is what Ken Block manages to do with his STI Hatch. He’s got tons of clips on YouTube, but few of them really capture what he’s able to do. It’s one of my all time favorite clips, and just goes to show what the car is really capable of.

German tuning masters Lumma Design are at their best when they take on the likes of the Porsche Panamera. This time around they managed to model a ruby dubbed CLR 700GT. This edition of the Panamera comes with a widebody kit and a fresh front end. Another attractive feature is the wheel arch which has 22-inch rims and upgraded brakes that ride on a suspension lessened by 1.38-inches. An attraction at the rear is the carbon-fiber wing and so is the rear bumper with an aerodynamic diffuser and quad tailpipes. Talk about the engine power and Lumma has unleashed a 700 metric horsepower beast which completes the overall aggressive package. [via Autoblog]

The next generation Volkswagen Touareg has been captured by spy-photographers yet again and this time these images reveal a host of new features. The first conclusion drawn from the photographs is that a smaller Touareg is also in the works other than the SUV but nothing more can be said about it. The bigger SUV will come with new LEDs at the front and a new set of taillamps at the rear. The Touareg will be powered by a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 which is also found in the hybrid drive system of the Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid. Other engine options will include the range topping 5.0 liter biturbo V10 TDI diesel capable of churning 350 hp and 850Mn of Torque. [via WCF]
