Daihatsu showcases the Deca Deca Concept

There are not many shoebox-designed commuters that come with space for your surfing boards and dirt bikes, but the Daihatsu Deca Deca Concept showcased in Tokyo, begs to differ on this count. It is called the ‘workspace on wheels’ and rightly so for other than that amazing boot space it has rear seats that can be swiveled and folded, while the front passenger seat could be rotated doubling as a mini conference space. The engine capacity of this concept should hardly be a thing to discuss for Daihatsu never claimed that it is an outright scorcher. But for the record there’s a 1.3-litre 3-cylinder turbo engine mated to a FWD CVT Transmission. There is no word yet on the Deca Deca hitting the production facility.

Deca Deca Concept sounds weird…it also looks weird. This car may appeal to some and even thinking about it is a bit puzzling to me. Deca Deca seriously needs improvement…
