Spotted in Munich, the Vision is capable of delivering M-Like performance with unbelievable economy numbers and uber low emissions. These pleasing promises are a courtesy of the VED Concept assisted by 1.5 L three-cylinder turbo diesel engine mated to a complete hybrid powertrain with twin-electric motors. These motors are placed on the front and rear axles and are together capable of producing 365hp with 800Nm of Torque. Consequently the entire combination helps the Vision Concept dash from 0 to 100Km/h in 4.8 seconds, while its tope speed is electronically limited to 250km/h.

Specifically for the North American market, Honda has released a CUV version of the Accord (which was previously a luxury sedan) dubbed the 2010 Accord Crosstour. This is seen as an expansion of the Accord lineage of commuters. As of now the details are scant and just the photographs of the CUV are available. Whatever is known is that the CUV features an obvious high-seating position but it still manages to keep the overall suspension low. A new front grille is also evident and so is the beefed up rear which together give the CUV a sturdier look. Since it will go on sale later this year, we are hopeful that more details should be available sometime soon.

Just for the record, full hybrid technology means that the commuter will be able to solely function on the electric engine or the combustion engine or a combination of both. There are not many details available about the electric commuter but what we are speculating is that the Auris too will be good enough to run short distances daily on the electric power for that is what HSD technology implies.

Australia is one place where Skoda enjoys a better success rate than in the other parts of the world. No wonder it experiments with its latest models in the same place and an evidence of this is the promotion of the latest Octavia RS as a track focused project car down under.

The exact dubbing of the turbocharged wagon is the Octavia RSP and it features a turbo 2.0L beast capable of churning out 258hp with 350Nm of torque. The engine achieves such impressive numbers as consequence of the recalibrated ECU, three-inch stainless steel exhaust system and a larger air-filter.

Talk about braking technology, the wagon comes with 355mm front and 310mm rear brake discs which work well with the reliable Yokohama ADVAN tires. The aggressive styling theme is prevalent throughout and that can even be seen on the exterior which has honey-comb grilles, fully adjustable dampers and a loud RS-P badging.

Styling Upgrades for the Facelifted SEAT Leon Cupra by JE Design

The facelifted SEAT Leon Cupra has only been around for sometime and JE Design did not exactly like what it saw and hence came up with a tuning package to make it an untamable racing machine.

The kit picks up the horsepower of the car to 285 hp with 380Nm of torque and this has been achieved thanks to a revised ECU module which solely costs €1,499. Consequently, the Leon Cupra can now pelt from 0 to 100km/h in 5.9 seconds and can hit a top speed of 261km/h. With a better engine, you need better cooling and hence there is a stainless steel sports exhaust system which individually costs €899. The suspension of the Cupra has been lowered by using a coilover technology which brings down the ride height by 40mm and 19-inch gloss black multi-spoke wheels equipped with high performance tires (all costing €2,930) complete the package.
