The Australian car market will soon be embracing a limited edition Mercedes Benz C 63 AMG edition 63. The Edition 63 will have the same features such as those of the standard Mercedes Benz C 63 AMG giving it s similar look. There will be a few things different from the standard model including unique 19-inch DTM-style alloy wheels, three exclusive color choices Platinum Black, Mystic White, and Allanite Grey, and dark tinted privacy glass fitted to estate models. The interior will have a number of unique design features that include two rare upholstery colors- designo sand or designo classic red, extended black leather appointments with contrast stitching, illuminated door sills, AMG floor mats, and an AMG shifter.
The performance hasn’t been much toyed with and the only change is the addition of an AMG locking differential that helps with optimizing rear grip when accelerating out of turns. The engine choice includes the standard C63 AMG 6.3-liter V8 engine that produces 451hp and 600Nm of torque. It can pelt from 0 to 100 in 4.5 seconds, the estate variant clocks the same distance in 4.6 seconds. Only 63 of these units will be produced each selling for $169,900 AUD.

IND Silverstone II Styling Kit has one sole intention and that is to make the BMW E93 Convertible clean and subtle. The kit comes with a discrete polyurethane front lip extension and thereby completely removes all stock OEM reflectors. Other changes include a ‘challenge’ rear diffuser and 20-inch BBS LM chrome wheels with Nitto Invo tires. Sometime later IND also plans to equip the car with an Eisenmann Sport exhaust system, a Rogue short shift kit, and a performance shift knob and boot, but that will be after some months. The engine specs are just speculative as the official details are missing so it is supposedly a 4.0-liter V8 engine capable of producing 414 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.

I personally feel that saloons like the Mercedes CL W216 seldom need an exterior body trim but even then, breaking the monotonous look is justified at times. In case you are in the mood to give you car an aggressive look, MEC is there for you with its latest Bodykit for the Mercedes CL W216. The kit includes a new aggressive front bumper with revised grille. On the rear, the car can be fitted with a three-piece spoiler and you get to choose from two rear diffusers-elegant or extreme sports. Also, there is a sports exhaust system with four massive tailpipes. On the sides you get bold side-skirts with available LED lighting. There is a choice of flat black or chrome MEC I three-piece wheels measuring 10.5×22 front and 11.5×22 rear.

G-POWER had an X5 Typhoon in place a few months back and that too was a powerful machine capable of producing 525 hp but then it seemingly got annoyed with BMW exceeding that power for the standard X5 M confirmed at 555 hp. In response to this development, G-Power has now come up with an even more powerful variant of the X5 — the X5 Typhoon RS that churns 625hp with a maximum torque of 700Nm from an entirely overhauled 4.8-litre V8. The impetus came from a G-POWER SK III RS supercharger with a 1.0 bar boost pressure. With these additions, the X5 can hit the 100Km/h mark in 4.5 seconds and tops it out at 285km/h. This fierce engine is mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission all functioning on an xDrive AWD system. You even get some trendy accessories like a design speedometer, a sports steering wheel and aluminum bits.

The latest viper to prove its metal in the American Le Mans series next year would be the just revealed Corvette Racing C6.R GT2 which will obviously boost the confidence of the Corvette Racing team as a Single GT Class variant. The loss at this years’ Championship needs an impetus such as the Corvette Racing C6.R GT2 for the credentials are certainly heartening. Also, the non racing drivers would love to know that this car is ready to share a lot with the Street Going Variant and this includes- the aluminum frame, chassis structure, the steering system, the aerodynamic package and the body design. As far as the rest of the season for the Corvette Team is concerned, it will be a 6.0-litre V8 based on the 7.0-litre LS7.R and used in the GT1 version that will be put to use. For the coming season, the Vette Team plans a smaller 5.5-litre V8.

We won’t say that Nurburgring’s Nordschliefe Circuit is prone to accidents but even then it is always good to have a Rapid Action Response Vehicle around. Why pick the Nissan GT-R is a tricky question, and we surely think that it isn’t anything to do with the fastest timing controversy. This is quite a car when talking about features as it has full roll cage and carbon fiber Recaro racing seats, to talk about a few. And even as a safety car, it is capable, thanks to the integrations which include a fire retardant tank situated at the rear passenger area, a working hose reel and an equipment bay in the boot. The only mishap that comes to the memory is that of the R8 V10, but anyways, it is always good to take precaution.

The talented folks at GeigerCars.de have just unveiled a new edition of the Hummer H2 and the name is a dedication to the brown/beige paint scheme. The Latte Macciatto Hummer H2 is a combination of a bold exterior mated with aggressive 30-inch chrome wheels outfitted with 315/30R30 tires. The color scheme is evident even on the interior with the beige leather, Alcantara upholstery and piano lacquer trim. Talking about power, the Latte Macciatto houses a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 547 PS and 763 Nm of torque. The engine power assisted by the forced induction helps the Hummer clock 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, while it tops it out at 228 km/h.
