Subaru Impreza WRX STI Concept by Lars

We don’t know exactly who Lars is, but he’s got a great talent. Check out his interpretation of a Subaru WRX STI that edges away from the ugly exteriors we’ve been used with. Of course Subaru was never about stylish curves, since they had monsters under the hood, but this rendering exudes sophistication and beauty from every little joint. A new front-end, narrow honeycomb grille, steeper curves and modified headlights, that’s what makes it a great car to drive. [via Jalopnik]

No matter how ugly this car will be… Subaru is undefeated in it’s class. I wish them best!

Lars, also known as “Grid”, has been doing 3D rendered car models for quite some time. Personally, I think his latest work looks great. The renderings remind me of an old-school Lotus Espirit. (from the nose of the car back to the B-pillar)
Also, you can see the 3D rendering video, found here: http://www.stiblog.com/pictures/new-sti-concept-renderings-emerge/

Talk about monster rally cars – with this cut and design, now it’s sure to turn heads next time you’re cruising. Great look. (Does this model go above 300BHP?)
