There’s good stuff on carblog when it comes to Golf VI. Some think it’s ugly, some think it’s an amazing desing, but none have seen the new VW Golf GTI W12-650 Concept with a body kit from Exclusive Tuning Worldwide. it’s a new body kit that will cost you a whopping $16,000, but the result is nothing short of cool. Featuring a new front bumper with a large air intake, massive side skirts, a new rear bumper, a revised hatch, and a working quad exhaust system, we’re definitely sold on its looks. And we didn’t even count those stylish 18-inch GTI wheels … [via autoblog.nl]

Zunaid Moti is a local businessman and the owner of Future Exotics Lifestyle Emporium – a custom built lifestyle venue for world’s finest in exotic vehicles, marine and aviation. If last year he’s been spotted in a Koenigsegg CCXR, a few days ago he got himself one of those fancy Pagani Zonda F Roadster Cinque Replica. And Pedro van Gaalen got some time with it. Apparently it’s the 18th Zonda F of only 25 in the world and the only one in the limited edition Cinque Zonda R colour scheme – due later this year. So if you just wanted to hate someone today, Moti is the one
We hate being poor …
Thanks Pedro

Since we got no sight on the new Scirocco R20T in Geneva, the Brits from CAR reported that the Germans are preparing to show off their Volkswagen GTI-R in September at the Motor Show in Frankfurt. Although it doesn’t look as fun, you can be sure this one just as hot. Housing an Audi S3 turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that is supposed to sport close to 260 hp (and also does AWD), the new GTI-R has been put on a diet to deliver more than you can imagine. If you like it expect to sell late 2009 or early 2010. You game? [via Autoblog]

If you were thinking one of those upcoming Mercedes E-Class, Kicherer has plans for you. They recently announced a tuning package (based on the new E-Class AMG sports package) that includes carbon fiber body paneling, front and rear spoilers, side mirror covers and rear bumper that adds to its sportiness. But there’s more to it. Kicherer has added a set of 20-inch forged alloy wheels for style, a twin-piped performance exhaust system to raise its badass karma and a tuned suspension for one of the best rides you’ve ever had. We don’t have prices yet, but if you can afford a new E-class, we’re pretty sure Kicherer won’t get you broke … [via auto-motor-und-sport.de]

The wicked folks from Arden came out with an exquisite styling package that will transform the Jaguar XJ from an elegant saloon into an eye catching sedan that stuns with its sporty performances. Dubbed the Arden AJ14 Noble Cat, it includes a new front bumper with two small spoiler lips, twin LED lights, a new stainless steel mesh grille, a new diffuser in the back and beautiful “Zelem One” wheels that steal the show. We’re certainly sold on anything that screams class and adds a touch of speed.
The head of Ericsson Southern Africa’s marketing unit was killed when his Ultima Spyder, reported to be a British-manufactured kit car, burst into flames after colliding with a Lamborghini on Sandton’s William Nicol Drive. The Spyder burst through a fence, rolled, came to a standstill in the veld and burst into flames.
There was only slight damage to the Lamborghini.

With the success of the Nano, the Indians from Tata are planning to “infest” the auto industry with their cheap vehicles. Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying these are low quality cars, lacking in security or design. No, you can really see that Tata is progessing. And to be honest somehow, I really like their new PR1MA concept. With a little bit of help from the Italians from Pinifarina, the four-door sedan has a fluid design with roudned forms. Trying to take on leaders like Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic, we can’t see it succeed because it has a niche of its own. No price range or assurance that PR1MA will ever make into production, but we still like it. And although I love the stylish exhaust, a piece of advice for Tata. How about bigger wheels (wider, too) and a some redesigned front lights? Make it a bit more futuristic guys … [via AutoMotto]

Geneva has been great this year. With accents on green vehicles and luxurious rides, we’re know you’d have badmouth us for not telling you more about the Protoscar Lampo. Announced in February, the Swiss went live with it a few days ago, and we managed to find more details. Powered by two special BRUSA getting their juice from a lightweight li-ion battery capable of storing 32 kW, the electric vehicle accounts for a good 268 hp and 440 Nm torque, and offers a 193 km range. There’s no release date or a price for that one, but if anyone from Protoscar cares we’re available for a test drive. Call us! [via WCF]
