
Not many companies are busy these days with announcing new models, but Hyundai is one of them. They’ve just announced their R-Spec Genesis Coupe at the Auto Show in Chicago. Though it’s still a concept, the car is expected to run on a 210hp turbo engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission and tops at 220 km/h. Featuring “state of art” technology that includes stability control, ABS, electronic brake force distribution, 19-inch wheels, Brembos, a Torsen limited-slip differential and a stiffer suspension. The R-Spec model cuts weight on the vehicle by removing many of the optional devices that most drivers would like such as the car’s cruise control, Bluetooth connections, automatic headlights and trip computer. However, it adds performance pieces such as front and rear Brembro brakes, a lowered suspension and performance tires.
