Porsche is an internationally brand that should be in the dictionary under style and speed. Celebrating the marque’s history and heritage, the Germans have spent some 100 million Euro and more than three years to renovate this futuristic building – the Porsche Museum, in Stuttgart. An amazing 1,000 square meters of floor space, there are more than 80 stunning models starting from the first 356 to the latest Panamera. And did we mention those exquisite rides … the 924 Carrera GTS, the 959 Dakar 1986 (René Metge) or Niki Lauda’s Porsche-powered McLaren. The Porsche Museum opens gates on January 31, so if you’re in Germany get to see it. It’s a work of art … [via AutoBlog]

For a car that doesn’t exist, Jaguar’s XJ220 looks amazing. Though still a rumor, the Brits are expected to revive their amazing sports car (that ruled from 1992 to 1994) and it may look like the renderings in here. With some wide air intakes that dominate the front, a sleek oval grille and stylish ultra-efficient LED headlamps, Jaguar XJ220 is expected to “kill” Audi’s R8 and if anyone’s interested, we think they have a shot. Under the hood, there’s a 503-horsepower, supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine from the XFR model, that goes naught to 60mph in less than four seconds and tops at 230mph. It’s an amazing design so we can only hope we’ll get this beauty running on our streets, but that looks like an expensive ride. Isn’t it? [via AutoExpress]

Set to launch later this year, the 2009 A4 Allroad Avant got spied while “training” in the mountains. The first Audi A4 to get LED rear lights treatment, it has many of the features from its older brother – the A6 Allroad, but also features a black plastic exterior trim, wider fenders, unique front and a stylish rear bumper.

Of course it has the increased ride height and Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system, giving it more muscles for bad weather conditions. We don’t have a price for it yet, but that sure looks like a top seller from our point of view. Don’t you think? [via WCF]

Spied and hunted for the last few months, there’s not much you can comment when we get to look at something like that. These are leaked official images of the new Mercedes E-Class Coupe that the folks from AutoBlog.nl managed to get their hands on. Previously known as the CLK, there are many changes that make that car more attractive than before. We’re talking about those sa twin-blade chromed grille, a twin-blade chromed grille, an integrated rear diffuser and what appears to be rear LED lights. We’re not sure if that’s an AMG version or not, but from what we see it’s an amazing design. A top seller. Mercedes-Benz is expect to show it off during the 2009 Auto Show in Geneva.

Citroen just made their Berlingo Multispace seven-seater, official in UK. The petrol or diesel powered Multispace VTR features either the 1.5i 110 hp engine or the very unimpressive 1.6 HDi 90 hp model (that’s a heavy vehicle, don’t you think?). Since that’s the perfect vehicle for a family with kids we don’t really think anyone will buy it for the power, but more like the 3,000 liter trunk that you can host everything you need for a 2 weeks vacation. And if we’re talking about “back” room, the last two seats fold down and there’s an additional 650 liter space. As for the looks of the seven seater Citroen Berlingo Multispace, we’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Two new models from Porsche’s yard -911 Carrera and Targa 4, are getting optional stylish new sports exhaust systems for any new purchases starting February. Clad in stainless-steel with a unique quad-pipe outlet and fully adjustable exhaust flaps on the back, they not only look powerful but also allow you to customize the roar of your car. A unique solution that adds to how the car looks, sports exhaust system is €1,610 in the EU, and $2,500 in the States. In South Africa it shouldn’t be over 26,000 ZAR. [via WCF]

Apparently some of our friends from CarMag in the UK managed to get some “rare” details on how the n BMW 1-series is going to look like. With an accent on fuel efficiency, the new BMW 1 is going to sport a new 1.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine but the power figures are like that.
PETROL
DIESEL
Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed double-clutch (as optional), running on a RWD suspension, and a few body changes, we’re only eager to get behind the wheel for a test ride. This BMW looks much better than the older version .. isn’t it ?

For just a few moments we’re going to assume that you’re loaded with cash (financial crisis, says who?) and you’re looking for a car to ride at a first date. Wouldn’t you think of buying a rare Lamborghini Reventon? The Silicon Valley Auto Group in Los Gatos, California, have put one up for sale. Kinda brand new, the 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago Reventon has only 73 miles on board, used to be owned by a guy in Missouri and goes for an undisclosed price. And just to see if the girl would be impressed, the little beast has a 6.5-liter V12 dual overhead cam 48V engine under the hood, outputs 650 horsepower, 487 ft-lb of torque, tops at 340 km/h and goes from naught to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds.

Dream is over … back to our wheels. [via cars.com]
